Ugh, that sucks. And right before the tour espectacular. From personal experience (ipad stolen from my partner on chicago's El - those gits wipe i-pads/phones/pods within about 20 mins:( oh and then they sell your ipad for $200 on the corner. Keep rockin!

Was it just exposed on your seat? It also helps to leave no valuables left out in the open or to hide it somewhere a thief might not check like under the passenger seat or in between seat cushions.
