bad judgement on the rider, riding at that speed for the way the car & road was set up with traffic going in both directions with no divider was a Big hazard from the start. Always expect the worse from the cars. At the same time sometimes cars intentionally do things & whatever the outcome so be it! I hope the rider survived!!
blumin car drivers ( i do drive a car as well ) . If car only drivers knew what we have to look out for. i agree with 2012dibble , speed doesnt kill just bad judgement for either , rider if done inappropiately or car driver not seeing us.

Everyone thinks they're made of steel until you wreck once.. then its a wake up call. The rider was riding wreckless.. its sad that he did not survive but thats the path he took when speeding especially in this scenario where it was just not the smartest to be passing cars like that..
@puftepos Sorry to say. If the rider rides 40km/h while the driver is careless and stupid like this, still the rider will die of accident. Don't even care motorcycle behind. And all the motorcyclists always get all the blames...
@87namqul As I said, the guy with the motorcycle was an idiot because 1) he did not respect any speed limits and 2) because he did not satyed in lane like any other vehicle. END OF DISCUSSION!
And if I would be that other rider with camera on hes/hers thank I would follow that bitch in that car where ever she goes, and kill her, cos that was obviously made on purposely not an accident or anything. but hey what ever if u buy a bike and think that it is ok to cars to drive on u because u drive too fast, then ok be idiot and let car drivers do what they want. I won't and I hope some one else won't either.
Ahh, this was well publicised. The ride was indeed killed, and in fact, a bystander who heard the crash then walked up to the scene said the biker had been severed in two as a result of going under the wheels of the truck. The fact that they had clear incriminating evidence of their speeding, did not help the situation. Very sad.
Thats why i dont ride like that, ride behind cars, and overtake on a safe spot one by on or two if possible. As a result, hospital trips have gone down by 100 %
@Brainiac83 I agree! alot of these videos posted on bike accidents are as much the bikers fault as the car drivers.
I used to ride like that until a car turned in front of me. I was riding faster than I should have been and was into the car before he even saw me. He claimed he never new I was there until he was making his turn. I was able to brake some but still took a hard hit. broke a leg and beat me up. You wouldn't see me pulling this stuff today.
holy shit that guy almost nailed the oncoming van but im guessing he lived because from there he would have hit the guard rail and been launched which would be a better outcome
If that was me, i would have seen, that the car had no choice but to move over, or hit the other car that was next to him. The biker should no that cars cant see us when we are going 100, an the might be going 50-60.
haha damn DAS WAT U GET FOR TRYNA SHOW OFF TO ANOTHR BIKER DUMBASS BET U LEARNED UR LESSON DIDNT YOU.. NEXT TIME DONT PASS UP CARS SO QUICKLY (to kawasaki)
how is this not the car drivers fault, yes the bikes are speeding, but your allowed to overtake on broken whites lines, the biker was looking where he was going and what he was doing, the car driver never indicated, looked in mirror and was also trying to overtake, what if it was a police bike on its way to an emercency, the car would took it out aswell. but SPEED KILLS if you believe the bullshit, or is it stupid drivers not paying attention
Usually a rider take the middle road so that it can speed up. It is not for show off, but it is the way riding sport bike. The driver who is the one to be alert. Driver should look back before changing lane or overtake. The bike still behind and driver should keep in his (her) lane to give way to the bike to pass before overtake. DRIVER, PLEASE BE CAREFUL
After he(she) feels really clear and safe to overtake, then he(she) can do that. The driver just kill a bike and I feel he(she) should be blamed for it and feel guilty for his(her) entire life. Even the sound of the engine can make a driver alert of superbike. The driver is really careless!!!!
For me the driver of the black car who hit the bike is WRONG. She or he should be alert at all time for bikerz. I am pretty sure that before the driver overtakes, he or she should have seen the bike through side mirror. The driver should stay at his (her) lane to give way for the bike.
@Vilas30, he died. Was in the papers and a big media hype over here, hence why the video cuts out. They never showed the full clip, the biker was in error and his mate filming it was jailed.
First of all, I'm a motorbike rider, and I have to say, that guy is in error, he's passing cars in their own lane. Wrong. You do not share lanes with cars. That lady was in error just as the motorcyclist, passing when there was no passing lane available, but she's less wrong than the motorcycle driver. He runs into her, not her running into him. He assumes he can share the lane with her, and the car in front of her, just like he did the car he passed wrongly. He's damn lucky he didn't headon
Fuck this video!! I cant understand how this is possible.. If I had make this video I swear I stopped the bike and filled the car driver to beat .. I regret these scenes! I just hope the driver of the bike is well ..
Was that a two lane road on the left? Didn't look like it to me. Tell me then, why the car that pulled out tried to overtake while a big truck was coming the other direction at 0:37 ? It looks a little as though it was a motorist trying to block the pass, I've had people do it to me, and it looks exactly like that (or maybe a mirror image cause I drive on the right)??? I dunno - what do you think?
If you want to take anything away from this I guess my view would be that same lane overtakes/filtering at speed, whatever you want to call that action, are quite hazardous and if I have to perform something like that at that speed, I'd tend to sit behind each individual car for a reasonable amount of time, prior to overtake. It's all a game of numbers but you increase your chances drastically of the driver having seen you.
@dieselweasel69 I don't think its funny what if that was your family? A true biker will never think its funny. your just some 12 year old notthing better to do but Troll
*sigh* 100mph+ that close to coming off a roundabout?! No wonder the car driver thought they'd be clear to go. The vast majority of road users simply can't comprehend just how quick a bike can be, which is why I think part of riding is your responsibility to other road users. The bike was behind the car and should've been making allowances, but instead he put himself into a situation where he had no escape route... Real shame and I hope he healed up!
honestly i kinda think it's the bikers fault because it was clearly a single lane road and he wanted to drive fast and the person was switching lanes and he got fucked. if he had just stayed put it wouldn't ahve happend. i mean im a biker too and it's unfortunate when this happens because the bike always loses
@rjh19891989 well said i almost died when a woman pulled out on me ,still alive but not fit n healthy any more!!! its allwaysa woman BUT because of political correctness we arent allowed to say it,,like we all know who does all the crime but its never spoken about,, crazy britain!!
only a fool breaks the 2 second rule he should never have got that close !
If you ride with the attitude that you are invisble to everyone you will stand a better chance of avoidng a crash RIDE SAFE its always us riders who come of second best irrespective of whos at fault
there is something that faster motorcycle riders quite often seem to forget: car drivers sometimes also overtake other cars ;-) dont want to say that the car driver was in the best position to do so, but imho as a motorcycle rider you have to anticipate others behaviour or at least be more careful when riding in traffic...
im a motorcycle rider, and i've rode like an idiot in the past but not anymore, because of shit like this. it's called a race track..granted, the car driver fucked up, but the biker did as well. if he would have just been a little more patient, he'd still be here right now. patience is a virtue. rest in peace brother.
his number was up no one pays for that shit the first time its when you get used 2 riding like a dumbass that you pay sorry for the loss hope the bike was salvagable
@sroberts408 according to the full story on this, the two guys were friends. The guy that crashed there got mangled up and twisted around the tires of the van he crashed into, decapitating him. I'm going to start training for my bike license soon and I wouldn't have anticipated on this.. Who ever drove that car should have looked behind her before overtaking but it's definitely the bike drivers' fault since you shouldn't be racing :). Unnecessary death imo
@sroberts408 Pretty sure he died and neither of them should be overtaking on that section. The biker has more fault but the car driver isn't in the clear either.
He probably did look in his mirror, but because the rider was riding in such a poor position, he most likely didn't see him. Had the rider not been riding like an idiot and positioned himself better, and perhaps just waited a split second longer, he wouldn't have caused the crash he did. Split seconds make a difference on a track, not on the road.
@milduf can you not see it was a single carriageway seperated by diagonals bordered by a broken line. that was not a place to overtake for the car or a bike but the driver is responsible for not checking his mirrors, thats just bad practice
If you look at what the highway code says about hatched markings bordered by a broken line, they are there as a hazard warning, and if you read the road and traffic corectly then overtaking on them can be quite safe.
The car, is actually still on the corrcet side of the carriageway when the bike hits the back of it, whatever happened to "always being able to stop in the distance you can see to be clear?" Had the rider remembered this, he'd be alive.
Car drivers, they never look. They think the road is theirs, and fuck everyone else. hardly any of them consider riders or even look out for them. Only time they do is when the drivers ridden a bike themselves.
i find a lot of car drivers dont look when they pull to overtake they just look in rear view mirror not the wing mirror like they should aswell thats what happened here seen the bike behind him then just pulled out not checking his door mirror i find you have to look for them as in anticipate their next move just make sure they seen you
I am a die hard biker, love them with a passion.. but everyone is saying its the person in the cars fault.. umm well its not, if the biker would not have been tryin to show off he wouldnt have been put in that position.. but whatever, just be careful out there.. and keep in mind "When you play, you pay"
The guy died. He got rammed by that van. Video has been sencored (for a reason). The crash was car drivers fault BUT there is no way that driver could expect a bike coming that fast. Now, all drivers take a good look, and then second look in the mirror before overtaking, ok!
seeing stuff like this makes me want to get a track only bike. there are so many jackasses out there that pay no attention to anything but themselves and thier cell phones.
I second everything you said. I like haulin ass too, but ya got idiots like that, that just pull out without fuckin looking. If a track was more practical thats all I would do.
bad judgement on the rider, riding at that speed for the way the car & road was set up with traffic going in both directions with no divider was a Big hazard from the start.

Car driver/bike rider me & a bike ridden like that is on you between checking your mirrors & overtaking !!!
It's tragic that riders die & i have lost a couple of friends in bike accidents.
But the biker is at fault & has paid dearly for it.

LEBONSKIFINARM 1 year ago
honestly i kinda think it's the bikers fault because it was clearly a single lane road and he wanted to drive fast and the person was switching lanes and he got fucked. if he had just stayed put it wouldn't ahve happend. i mean im a biker too and it's unfortunate when this happens because the bike always loses

If you ride with the attitude that you are invisble to everyone you will stand a better chance of avoidng a crash RIDE SAFE its always us riders who come of second best irrespective of whos at fault
nornironbloke 2 years ago
there is something that faster motorcycle riders quite often seem to forget: car drivers sometimes also overtake other cars ;-) dont want to say that the car driver was in the best position to do so, but imho as a motorcycle rider you have to anticipate others behaviour or at least be more careful when riding in traffic...

Loox to me like the car did that on purpose... he went across the line into on coming traffic himself in order to make sure the bike would.
JoeyD714 2 years ago
im a motorcycle rider, and i've rode like an idiot in the past but not anymore, because of shit like this. it's called a race track..granted, the car driver fucked up, but the biker did as well. if he would have just been a little more patient, he'd still be here right now. patience is a virtue. rest in peace brother.
marshie1337 2 years ago
his number was up no one pays for that shit the first time its when you get used 2 riding like a dumbass that you pay sorry for the loss hope the bike was salvagable
extreeeeeemist 2 years ago
Firstly I wouldn't have undertook a fellow biker like that.
If the rider died that's sad and unfortunate.
It's hard to see on the clip but if a car is that close to the car in front I would be anticipating the overtake, but hindsight aye!
Safe riding all:-)
sroberts408 2 years ago 34
@sroberts408 according to the full story on this, the two guys were friends. The guy that crashed there got mangled up and twisted around the tires of the van he crashed into, decapitating him. I'm going to start training for my bike license soon and I wouldn't have anticipated on this.. Who ever drove that car should have looked behind her before overtaking but it's definitely the bike drivers' fault since you shouldn't be racing :). Unnecessary death imo

@sroberts408 an Asian* probably
JGFILMS24 1 year ago
@sroberts408 Pretty sure he died and neither of them should be overtaking on that section. The biker has more fault but the car driver isn't in the clear either.

fault of the car driver and fault of the rider, period.

Not the car drivers fault.....the guy was riding like an idiot.....ride like that on the road and the inevitable will always happen.
I feel for the poor bloke coming the other way minding his own business. I'm sure he doesn't sleep so well now.
Roads just ain't a race track. There is a time and a place.
milduf 2 years ago 2
sure the car drivers fault... u got to look in ur mirrors if u wanna overtake...
asildhgioshdgioashdi 2 years ago
He probably did look in his mirror, but because the rider was riding in such a poor position, he most likely didn't see him. Had the rider not been riding like an idiot and positioned himself better, and perhaps just waited a split second longer, he wouldn't have caused the crash he did. Split seconds make a difference on a track, not on the road.
milduf 2 years ago
@milduf can you not see it was a single carriageway seperated by diagonals bordered by a broken line. that was not a place to overtake for the car or a bike but the driver is responsible for not checking his mirrors, thats just bad practice
kilted06yass 2 years ago
@kilted06yass,
If you look at what the highway code says about hatched markings bordered by a broken line, they are there as a hazard warning, and if you read the road and traffic corectly then overtaking on them can be quite safe.
The car, is actually still on the corrcet side of the carriageway when the bike hits the back of it, whatever happened to "always being able to stop in the distance you can see to be clear?" Had the rider remembered this, he'd be alive.
milduf 2 years ago
@kilted06yass
Oh.....and further to the last....
first rule of an overtake........
"Always be in a position to abandon it"
The car driver does bare some responsibilty but not all, the motorcyclist is 99% to blame for what happened.

Poor guy, although I gotta be honest he put himself in that situation.
joepamplin 2 years ago
Car drivers, they never look. They think the road is theirs, and fuck everyone else. hardly any of them consider riders or even look out for them. Only time they do is when the drivers ridden a bike themselves.
IamaVampiressQueen 2 years ago 2
i find a lot of car drivers dont look when they pull to overtake they just look in rear view mirror not the wing mirror like they should aswell thats what happened here seen the bike behind him then just pulled out not checking his door mirror i find you have to look for them as in anticipate their next move just make sure they seen you
madbiker53 2 years ago
I am a die hard biker, love them with a passion.. but everyone is saying its the person in the cars fault.. umm well its not, if the biker would not have been tryin to show off he wouldnt have been put in that position.. but whatever, just be careful out there.. and keep in mind "When you play, you pay"
lilnasty36344 2 years ago 3
The guy died. He got rammed by that van. Video has been sencored (for a reason). The crash was car drivers fault BUT there is no way that driver could expect a bike coming that fast. Now, all drivers take a good look, and then second look in the mirror before overtaking, ok!
