  • I really enjoyed your video, but I disagree with your theory. If he was the smoke monster while he was in the wheelchair then how was he off the island?

  • i hate that this show ended, i have never watched such an awesome show ever, locke was my fav person

  • lol how long has this john locke smoke monster theory has been going on

  • If Locke was always Black Smoke who died on season 5?

  • @msai1922 the person who made himself look like locke

  • John Locke was the Smoke Monster. And the Smoke Monster was Jacob's brother. And Jacob's brother was Alvar Hanso. Alvar Hanso was secretly Horace. Horace was reincarnated as Michael. And Michael's spirit was transferred to Vincent's body after season 6. And Vincent became the new leader of the island after Hurley. And Vincent used his powers to go back in time and turn into Richard Alpert. And Richard Alpert impregnated Locke's mother. FULL CIRCLE, MIND BLOWN!

  • For fucks sake, his name isn't 'Esau'. It's 'Samuel'.

  • but he didn't take over lockes body remember the episode jacob dies how lockes body is in the coffin and the statue with ben and jacob. (the one in the statue was the mib)

  • This one was one of the most pointless video i have ever seen.

  • Yeah I don't see the evidence

  • Locke was never the smoke monster you idiot. It's just the smoke monster who took his appearance after Locke died for the rest of the show.

  • I don't agree. I think the smoke monster took on his image once Locke's dead body came back to the island. Like Jack's father. He wasn't always the smoke monster

  • LOCKE DIES THEN SMOKE TAKES OVER HIS BODY Because MiB is using dead bodies like Christen !

  • its funny because you posted this video after the series had ended.

    You are an Idiot.

Locke was born in May 1956, MiB was born sometime during the Roman era, nearly two thousand years before John Locke was born. MiB Inhibited Locke's body after he had died to use as a vessel of infiltration to gain access to Jacob to finally suceed in killing him, and thus gain access to the candidates. Did you even watch the show ?

    You are an Idiot

    You are an Idiot

    You are an Idiot

    You Are an Idiot

  • @AlternateTimelineGuy

Don't call the guy an idiot, 'cause your counter-argument is invalid, what he tried to reflect on is the possibility that Locke died in the island a long time ago and the Man in Black took his appearance, and then made it look like he had just taken Locke's form in the very last episodes.

He's not an idiot, the only counter-argument that IS valid is the fact that the Man in Black can't leave the island.

  • @KalB971 ...Yes and he was totally wrong so now...

    You are an Idiot

    You are an Idiot

    You are an idiot

and so on and so forth...

  • @KalB971 what you seem to be forgetting is that he posted this theory AFTER THE SHOW ENDED. The answers were already given

  • @KalB971 And i didn't have a "Counter Arguement" i told what actually happened, you obviosuly have never watched the show, if you thought what i had wrote was a counter arguement, so thanks but no thanks, this here, this paragraph is a counter arguement, into your logic but also stupidity

  • Jacob's brother is the monster. He was trapped on the island because of Jacob. He always was the monster. If you're wondering at the start of LOST why Jack's father was there, it wasn't really Jack's father, it was Jacob's brother that looked like Jack's father. It was almost like a warning to Jack's. Jacob's brother also looked like Mr. Eko's brother, that's why he had to get Mr. Eko killed, it was for a reason, and then at the end he was meant to look like John Locke because the real one died.

  • Plus Esau-Locke cant get hurt, considering nothing happened to him as he was shot at multiple times in season 6. In this video, he is bleeding from the cut on his face... Esau never bled until the heart of the island was removed.

  • How did that prove anything?

  • 2:04 could be used to make a great, joke edit about John and Jack being gay lovers.

  • in 1 episode John was eye to eye with the monster. about season 1 or 2 or something

  • John wasnt always the black smoke, dont u remember when he told jack that he also used his dad's body he wanted to show him where the water was in the caves

  • People are so dumb.

  • LOCKE LIVES

  • 0:40 Slenderman

  • Very good thought and idea at that my friend. Overall though, i do think John locke wasn't the smoke monster, only because how obessed he got over this monster, even asking Ben in the 5th season what it was. Plus, in the 6th season, this monster was obsessed likewise getting off the island, and spoke bad of Locke, point of hatred of him to Ben in the first episode of season 6.

I do remember in 4th season, Jack was beginning to see things, he was in a hotel and a Smoke Alarm went off ;)

  • This guy is fucking stupid. John Locke was never the smoke monster. He died in then after that the smoke monster, which had the ability to turn into other people, took on Locke's form.

  • haha yea fk that monsters dont sit in wheelchairs and monsters aren't confused

  • 1:17 FRANK DUBOSC !!

  • Maybe he could only leave the Island as Locke but had to leave in some special way so he could be himself again.

  • I don't believe that Locke is the Monster (just too much to the contrary in S6), however it's possible that the writers put things in to intentionally mislead the audience to that conclusion.

Not to mention that Smokey couldn't leave the Island.

Also, I think Locke wanting to let the Monster take him under is like when Jack wanted to let the bomb in the submarine explode in 'The Candidate'. Only by 'The Candidate' Jack is now the man of faith and Sawyer takes over Jack's stubborn refusal.

  • @helado1316 I know the monster tries to drag him off and that puts Clark Kent and Superman in the one picture ;) but there are some other really compelling scenes, like when Locke ties Boon up in the woods and then the monster appears and fails to kill him, or the way Locke appears from behind a bush Christian disappears behind, with a dead boar.

  • @miavaso When he tied Boon up, he drugged him.

  • @miavaso

it was probably just foreshadowing or easter eggs for hardcore fans.

  • @miavaso You didnt put in the scene in one of the first episodes ( the first boar hunt) where he sees the monster.... after he left kate and michael... so his not the monster...

  • @helado1316

I disagree on the grounds of season 4, where christian shows up at jack's hospital, also what about the monster splitting into 3 separate components, and Locke's childhood drawings as well as the alluding anagram on the van referring to reincarnation? also Samuel knew what Locke's final thoughts were, so there is quite a lot of evidence that Locke may have been at the least possessed if not the monster itself.

  • Those are some great scenes. :-)
