  • unique and amazing ! awesome job

  • which 5 or 6 speed transmission would you recommend on a 2uzfe??

  • And that's why most supras are wore out heaps of shit, Cus rich kid idots like this treat them like that.

  • @bottomseeder452000 its got a built motor, he isn't hurting anything reving it to 1/2 RPM of the redline.

  • Lol @ cold engine rape, but I've heard that without accessories(a/c,powersteering) these engines can spin to 11,000rpm STOCK.

    Sick video man, thanks

  • @illsuspect not a chance. i feel comfortable betting large amounts of money that you would start throwing rods above 8000 rpm. not to mention that the stock cams aren't going to make power above 7000rpm, and the stock valvesprings arent going to even allow the valves to close at those RPMs. i doubt the stock oilpump even lubes the engine sufficiently at those RPMs. it takes INSANE money to make any engine spin that fast...

  • Dude this is awesome. My jaw dropped when i read that you get 420hp at 9300 rpm. Dude I didnt know those things could spin that fast haha. I love these engines tho. My 96 LS4 1UZ just feels and runs so good. Great Vid!!!

  • wow! :)

  • Ouch! Glad that's not my engine being raped cold like that...

  • Yea, rap up that cold engine to 10k. The start had to be cold or he wouldn't have needed help starting the thing. In any case at least give the engine a few seconds to build oil pressure.

  • This is now a Japanese Corvette. What a badass setup.

  • U r a legend

  • god fucking dammn. whats up with all the haters? and all this shit about cold start we dont know if this is a cold start or not, so just shut up enjoy the video and thats all people. also great build dude i love it keep up the good work

  • @anACEmw2player DUH, One always needs to spice up the mix when the engine is warm and toasty. Come on and think for a second and then enjoy the guy's video on how to damage your engine in 20 seconds or less.

  • None the less, fucking sick engine dude. Swap you my left nut and my virginity for this shit hahaha

  • Spinning a cold motor like that will soon fuck the heads and rings in no time.

  • OMG I JUST CUM ! lol

  • lol ether

  • fan belt squeak makes me cringe on a build like that

  • @gumby83 With throttle response like that, the belts are going to squeak.

  • dude. it would have been sick if you put a little glass window there so you could see those awesome TB's

  • 2JZ-GTE sounds a lot better to me...

  • @czierwo Go watch video's of 2jz powered cars then.

  • @czierwo four cylinders...... blah

  • @canadiangearhead80 sorry I6 cylinders..... blah

  • @canadiangearhead80 children...

  • fast response on throttling... nice

    fine tuned.

  • Christ. Is there any air left in the garage for you to breathe after revving that monster?

  • thats gotta be the most expensive 420hp ive ever seen a V8 make...

  • @impreziv 420WHEELhp, so expect it to be much more at the flywheel ;)

  • @impreziv try ferrari

  • @PD19954 ferrari can suck a dick on this

  • @impreziv Sure you can slap a turbo for much cheaper, but you got to admit, N/A is awesome when done right, like above!

  • @LaenPvP i'm more referring to the engine itself. if thats what it takes to make a Toyota V8 make 420hp, i would just quit my car hobby completely. a GM LS3 crate motor makes that HP out of the box, more torque, costs less, weighs about the same, and gets above 30mpg in a 3000lb+ car. and above all that, it will pass emissions anywhere.

  • @impreziv I agree with just about everything you said on the LS3 except that the don't cost less to start with but if you mean stock LS3 vs built 1uz then ofcourse its cheaper, and LS3 doesn't get above 30 mpg they get about 24mpg highway with an automatic. The 1uz was a full production engine so emissions shouldn't be a problem as long as Emission controls (i.e. O2 sensors, cats) haven't been messed with for vehicles that still need to be screened.

  • @Qnickel27 yes i am referring to a 1UZ modified to the extent shown in this video. and you would never get a 1UZ motor with such modifications to pass emissions anywhere.

  • @Qnickel27 The LS1's in the WS6 Trans am's got around 28-30

  • @impreziv It is only a 4.0L engine, so making big power takes forced induction. The stock bottom end is very strong (800+hp capable without touching a thing), so using a turbo is a much smarter approach with this engine. The only reason to use this engine in NA form in a sports car is because it is so under-stressed and so it is nearly indestructible. Most of them spent 150K miles of their lives lugging around 4000 pound luxury cars before even being introduced to the abuse of racing.

  • @impreziv a stock ls3 couldnt come close to the revs the 1UZ W/ ITBs can put out, thats why you do ITBs in the first place. i duno about you, but i like my engines to SCREAM, not just roar. one last thing, the 1UZ is way more interesting and less common. go to any classic car show and half of them will have the same boring old off the shelf GM crate. im not hating or anything, just tryin to explain what toyota enthusiasts see when they compare the two.

  • @Ja3cques that all sounds very inspirational, but how high my engine revs, how common it is, and how it sounds mean nothing to me. the engine revving higher doesnt reflect its true performance. i prefer to look at a combination of the drivetrain gear ratios, combined with the overall torque pattern over the RPM range.

  • hey guys possibly a dumb question but here it goes. What kind of gas mileage are you getting with the ITB's? Has it increased or decreased or just the same?

    Love the videos.

  • hey one question. what did u spray on the intake before u started the car?

  • How was the motor built what was overall done to it

  • @1uz9300rpm I can't believe how stupid most of the people commenting are. I gotta say that this is one of the most impressive engines I've seen and sounds unbelievable.

  • is it really only puttin out 420? i saw an sc with gte swap twinturbo pushin 540.

  • @BucketheadCoverJr

uh no shit, that's because he ISN'T running BOOST. but my 1jzge is running only 220 hp and not 300hp like the gte? NO SHIT.

  • shit.

  • i got stiffness going on haha

  • I sure like that intake design, good way to seal off the ITB

  • sick ride man, can i has it? :P

  • oh. my. god.

  • What does a V8 to a supra cost?

  • sounds AWESOME! ! ! ! ! ! but i think the engine died at the end, LOL! ! !

  • what are you spraying with?

  • i bet your neighbors hate you when you drive off in the morning! WHAAAT!? I SAID YOUR NEIGHBORS MUST HATE YOU WHEN YOU DRIVE OFF IN THE MORNING!!!!

  • XR6 turbos sound like shit imo, and they don't feel that fast in stock form- a supra stock for stock would shit on one. I will say that the potential there is huge though...

  • @zeroyon223 XR6's are retarded, im sure i've seen vids on here before with 2kHP dynos.

  • BADASS

I want to start a v8 supra project with a mk4 shell on craigslist. I want to use a UR engine though because direct injection makes my dick move.

  • @DOCTORtrololololol

i thought about it to, if you do it get the ur3 tundra motor, 5.7 liters of cumyourpants power

  • @greggregburger The shell was sold. lol

  • Wooohooo! Awesome, high revving V8. Tell the american's manufacturer how to do a V8, LOL... No JUST KIDDING. Nice engine, really...

  • sorry mate but this is what a v8 should sound like -------> watch?v=rW0wXULW2C0

  • @GS315ish Apples to oranges, much?

  • @Ryoukun16 yeh mate i re-read the title and i figure u mean that is what a supra v8 with ITB's should sound like. doesn't take away from the fact that i think it sounds shithouse, but that's just my opinion.

  • @GS315ish So you'd rather listen to those annoying V6s judging by your opinion?

  • Or rather, the overdone I6s?

  • @Ryoukun16 nah buddy, i think supra's are shit in general, if you watched the video i said about you would see my opinion is based on a v8. for the record though i drive a ford xr6 turbo ute with over 400hp at the wheels and it sounds a damn site better than this thing. also i am yet to hear a v6 of any sort that sounds good.

  • @GS315ish ... This is now why I have a tendency to murder people who say "xxxs are shit in general."

  • @Ryoukun16 so exactly how many people have you murdered mate. should i say as a whole the toyota supra is an ugly, small, slow, piece of shit that would be better off under a truck. or how about for a car it would make a good boat anchor.

  • So many idiots on here. How do you know its cold? You dont! We have to start our race car engine like this sometimes even when its hot because the cam is too aggresive for low RPM.

  • awesome setup, N/A FTW!!! ...but cold revving is never a good idea

  • Correction - thats what Amercia thinks Japanese V8s should sound like. That.... is bad.

  • does it idle???? i guess not

    Fail

  • this man is an idiot, so the gas engine is not cold

  • this man is an idiot, so the gas engine is not cold

  • im pretty confused on why you have itbs and then still have 2 intakes? a little clairity would be great. awesome build though

  • The majority of people posting any type of information on this video have no idea what they are talking about. Honestly, most of you are straight up idiots. To all the anti-V8 big horsepower turbo OMG NO AIR FILTER people, please go purchase a vehicle and perform a simple engine swap before even beginning to think you know what you are talking about or how you could do this better.

  • pointless video

  • That was a terrible sound man..sorry. And reving your engine like that...hope it wasnt a cold start man bc I see nothing in your post about what you did.

  • i was planning on putting a v8 in a supra, i thought most people would think i was nuts, nice to know theres people with the same idea. BTW i wasnt sure if i could even fit v8 in the supra, a 5L that is.

  • your all a bunch of faggots! does it not sound great? thats what i thought SHUT THE FUCK UP!

  • WOW!!!

  • Warm up? Nah just fire it up and romp on it!

@DreamJ2eaper you are an ignorant bitch, don't leave comments like that, no one wants to read that hateful trash! And why? It's a V8 swap in a Supra, you that big of a 2JZ fan? If you want big horsepower out of a six it takes a large turbo, that means turbo lag. Maybe he wants better throttle response. And most modern aluminum V8s don't weigh much more than (or less) than an iron straight six so don't try to tell me about weight distribution! Plus

  • no filter, what a jackass

  • @infamousbeam Unless you suck a monster blubottle in there, running it in a garage with no filter wont do any damage, and take a look at that set up, he obviously knows what hes doing.

  • @infamousbeam I guess you didn't notice the two green filters.

  • decent .....he prolly went with toyota tranny i know my r154 (mk3supratrans) will work with the 1uz got the have right bellhousing tho they used r154 in some soarers

  • what transmission did you use and did you need an adapter plate??? great build. I love it personally;

  • @DreamJ2eaper Instead of hanging out on youtube, maybe you should go see psychologist

  • @DreamJ2eaper lol you mad bro?

  • that snaps to speed like an electric motor lol completely beautiful

  • that snaps to speed like an electric motor lol

  • dsf:IJ r092435934uijtfrsnfefjwefka

trying to wipe off the stuff on my keyboard

  • love the original supra engine

  • sick sick sick sick omg i love this

  • 9300rpm limiter? HOLY FUCK.

  • aerostart? lol

  • that is what the next supra should be made. keep the old MKIV body and put that 1UZ V8 engine since toyota doesnt want to make inline 6s anymore.

  • A vid of it running down the road would sound better. Props for the ITB's and the V-8 swap

  • what fucking tranny holds that shit ????

  • i don't care how hard your V-TEC "hits" that still doesn't beat the raw power of a V8 =)

i love 1UZ swaps.... something different you know??? rather than putting in giant turbos hahaha

  • that is a goddamn high revving v8

  • BOOM CLACLCLACKCLACKCLACK

  • nice job reving the shit out of a cold engine

  • @kyleisreallycool with no load on it, doesn't matter - ever see how they warm race engines? If he was in gear...

  • now twin turbo that.... that is how it should have been ;)

  • Nine million dollars worth of intake and squeaking belts.

Good job on force starting your engine with ether and then cold revving it to the moon. I should try that sometime. . .

  • @zapwatt ... you should read a little before posting, it might help you in not making too many assumptions ;)

  • @1uz9300rpm

The video description doesn't change my mind at all. I stand by my snarky comment.

  • @1uz9300rpm PWNED

  • @1uz9300rpm

didnt you know that everyone on youtube knows everything about anything??

    lol

  • @1uz9300rpm no matter how upgraded your engine is it isn't excluded from the laws of nature, namely friction

  • @1uz9300rpm I'd love to hear it at full throttle, any vid's of it on a dyno?

  • @1uz9300rpm Read what?

  • @liamvg Read that the car has a 9500rpm limit and in the vid he only revved about 6500 @ about 1/4 throttle. I'm sure his engine is doing juuuust fine

  • @GenjiSama91 i'll agree there. takes ALOT more than that to break a toyota lol.

  • @1uz9300rpm That is the target figures that I am wanting in a 1uz. Was the rotating assembly the Lextreme's product? What all else did you have to do to get that far? I am guessing you had to get aggressive cams from NZ didnt you? :)

  • @1uz9300rpm Ignore him-you've got a wonderful engine in a rare chassis-9300 from a V8 is impressive.

    Keep it up yea?

  • @1uz9300rpm looks similar to a can of 'start ya bastard'

  • @zapwatt Its his car he can do what ever he wants to, now id stop complaining because if u were him i bet u wudnt give a shit like he doesnt....

  • @XxExcursionxX1

    Free country, free speech

  • @zapwatt 9 million dorra!!!

  • @zapwatt

And what car do you drive? Something shitty enough not to post it on youtube, yet you criticize others for having a car you can only watch. Shut your mouth if you have nothing productive to say.

  • @Brendonbosy

This isn't about MY car. Me posting nor not posting videos of my cars has nothing to do with this tardopotomous abusing his engine. BTW, comments weren't invented just for deep throating somebody's V8, they were invented for expressing yourself, however that manifests, positive or negative. You are also welcome to shut your mouth. Have a nice day :)

  • @Brendonbosy dude ur a fag. theres no moderators in youtube. Zapwatt is right, revving that engine without the chance for it to pump oil around the engine is never good for an engine.

  • @zapwatt agree

  • @zapwatt even if everything you just said was true who gives a fuck its his engine let him rev the piss outta it for your enjoyment and be glad you dont do it to your own car/truck/ van w.e

  • dammm!!! thats the only v8 id run in a supra thats japanease muscle for ya lol

  • not good for the engine to rev like that too much

  • Comment removed

  • so it's like having a tundra engine in a supra? that's fucking badass!!!

  • your build is amazing

  • Sweet sweet symphony indeed and that custom manifold design is money!

  • ur pulley suck balls get expensive cheep no god ey???

  • awesomely clean engine bay. and sounds like a beast. props!

  • Makin your belts slip.....Love it aha

  • theres a few old videos on here before it got all the ITB setup. just the 1uz with the turbo, search 4000GT

  • Comment removed

  • theres a supra here in New Zealand with a similar setup with ITB, but its also running a GT35/40 turbo too, sound pritty insane, doesnt rev quite as high but still,

  • sounds so beautiful!!!!!

  • that fool needs to let the damn oil pressure build b4 he revs, captain skouche. S I C K build though.

  • ridiculous throttle response.

  • Carbeurated?!

  • Did it just die after that last rev?...

  • my god that sounds dirty

  • Would really sound good in a corvette zr1. XD

  • Sounds great!! but I suggest you let the oil get to the head before you rev it up!

  • fuck me that sounds like a nascar

  • Wow!!

  • That's some killer throttle response.

  • i have a question, what did you spray into it?

  • @xxdmdxx fly spray

  • @xxdmdxx Probably Starter Fluid.

  • @RiceKiller191 O.o you sure? i don't think this is a carbed vehicle... those are idividual throttle bodies not carbs

  • @xxdmdxx Never seen that before. Hmm, learn new things everyday i guess lol

  • @RiceKiller191 individual carbs are similar to this :p i can see the mix up

  • @xxdmdxx Yeah i saw it and was like "well, kinda looks like carb setup but not quite..."

  • @RiceKiller191 well fuel injected vehicles are just confusing period :) i started working on cars and i must say i rather tear down an american made block than a japanese block... just so many little things can go wrong with a fuel injected vehicle but i'm just a beginner learning

  • nice job. i just came across a totaled tundra with a 5.7liter in it. When i noticed the motor was in decent condition i bought it on the spot. I got it to start in my garage and once i put in some synthetic oil it perked up nicely. I might be getting myself a NA supra and was wondering how much work it would take to drop it in. If anyone

  • @funguy7979 u would prolly be one of the first to do that swap. would be a great motor to put in though. the 6 bolt mains engines from toyota are really strong.

  • @mkIIIsupras -- thanks for the positive feed back. Do you know anyone that can design some engine mounts for this build? Plus I need to find a way to mate up the 5.7liter to a manual transmission. Any other help I can get would be appreciated. Thanks again.

  • @funguy7979 well what i think u would need to do is use the stock lower mount bracket and have to fabricate the top mount to bolt to the engine and still line up with the lower mount. or just weld up a solid motor mount with some rubber bushing. Ur toughest task is finding or getting the adapter plate made that is required to mate the v8 to a manuel tranny. They are spendy. What manuel tranny u thinking of using? ill look into deeper for u.

  • @mkIIIsupras I plan on using a T56 tranny.

  • @mkIIIsupras there finally are people in the states, who swap manuals into 1UZ-FE powered cars, they're called quantum auto, they said they were working on stuff for the 5.7L tundra engine, but you'd be better off going for an OBD I SC400 here in the states. I used to think it was just people in oz who tune 1UZ-FE's. They have an adapter plate for the R154 and the W58, but yeah you would need to grind down the bellhousing and get the adapter plate.

  • @TechThem22 - quantum auto w58 adapter plate alone is US$330, plus a 2-6week wait. and you still need to relieve the bellhousing to fit it. for $25 you can buy the exact same CAD file, and get your own machine shop to cut it. total price around $100. mkIIIsupras; you can also buy the CAD files to fabricate the T56 adapter.

  • @1uz9300rpm yikes, thanks for the info, now i'd much rather have the T56 cause it can handle way more power than the W58 cause if I had a W58 and planned on tuning the car to the levels that you have it i'd have to invest in strengthening the gearbox which can probably prove to be expensive. your car is excellent mate, can you please upload an onboard video?

  • Best engine swap. Rare too, I bet you get some "wtf faces" at the traffic lights etc

  • pretty sick mate i think its a great idea
