You can answer your own question just by looking at the vid. See how the truck has to be parked in relation to the loader? (90 degrees) There is no room to park that way closer to the pile, without blocking traffic.
Drives off so far to be dispersed. And I think, that the truck so is far not to stir to movement. Though, if they so arrive with technics they are not clever...
@Buckshot3715 They need to load from the side of the truck if they parked the truck closer they would have to block traffic to load the truck. That is generally not a good idea unless you want a lot of madd motorists.
I've driven one of those a few times at the lumber mill where I work. Its way easier for bystanders to just stay the heck out of your way than it is for the driver to stop because they just have so much momentum.
Thats a good way to peel off a sidewalk. You could do it in a few hours, instead of the three weeks I saw a labour crew drag their asses to do it one time. I swear half the time they were leaning on their shovels...
Actually everyone in the grading business calls it a Rubber Tire Loader. A front end loader can have both tracks and tires. I've been in the construction business a long time. Trust me.
You are 23 years old I have been working with all kinds of equipment for 30 years. If it has tracks its a crawler. You can call it a rubber tire loader to,but most people just call it a front end loader,or just a loader.
We just call them Front End Loaders and one on tracks we call it Track Loader. Not may companies use track loaders around here anymore as the maintance is to high due to all the turning required. Last time I've seen a track loader in real action was when I was getting loaded with one well over 20 years ago.
