This show was made in the 70s and intended for a black audience. This is the kind of thing children growing up in low income neighborhoods are likely to deal with, especially in the 70s which happened RIGHT after the civil rights movement, and it was even harder for blacks to make a decent living in the country due to high levels of racism.

I can't believe that this made it on to TV during the 70's- sure, its educational, but surely that's kind of explicit for a kid's show- that topic would be more appropriate for a tween and teen audience. Good episode though!
