NO..I mean mud "1/4"" thick!!!...stopped three oil field pipe trucks in their tracks and they were chained up , three railers on all drivers, chains on steering axle and one trailer axle with two singles. with heavy off road mud chains...quite an experience,, getting up to the pipe racks took hours,,,getting out was worse and getting the mud off the chains to take them off was a real job...nope ..."1/4" inch of mud was all it took...

Bad mud???... ya gotta be kidding...this is a piece of cake...if ya want bad mud...really bad mud...go to Jensen Utah USA.....I never saw anything like it civilian or military...1/4" deep...bone dry under the 1/4" of mud and nothing can move... tire chains are of no use at all..35 years in the trucks and this was unbelieveable...RR

Those straight trucks won't steer a bit when the floats get coated with a slick of mud. It's all over...no matter where you turn the tires the truck will go where it wants and if there is any slope to the road you going to go that direction. What a great video. Thanks for that!

Yep been there, spent 1/2 an hour trying to turn around on slick hard packed red mud (was raining) one time driving a concrete truck. I tried it with the tag axle up , with it down, spinning tires trying to get the rear end to kick out, nothing doing, I'd move about.5 of a degree of angle in the direction I wanted to do, baaaaaaaackkk andddd forrrrthhhhhhh. Laborers laughing at me, lol.. Fortunately it was level, but boy, I'll never forget that one.
