That was a touching video and I'm with you on it but I think you have ignorance confused with indifference. Everyone knows what's going on in the world, they just don't care. I'm glad you do.
Well, the real reason I used the word ignorance is because I think people do care - They just don't realise the options they have. Being ignorant is a choice, if you think about it - So I hope to help people see they can choose to be aware. :D

If you're talking about an ignorance that is a choice, that is a concept dangerous close to indifference anyway. It's like "Yeah, I might care if I knew the details, so I won't know learn the details on purpose." While indifference would be "OK, I know the details, but I still don't feel like doing it."
Indifference could be easily rationalized as ignorance.
