  • Thanks for doing this video. Shame they don't include something similar on their website or offer a downloadable demo of their software.

Do you use the ID3 tag writing option or just the file renaming?

I'm not so keen on the file renaming as I use iTunes to organise my collection (which renames files itself) and would like to see the key in the column from the ID3 tag in Traktor.

  • very helpful tut..thanks

  • would be great if it can say you how much db is louder / quieter than average of your collection instead of telling you to buy another software... its lame.. why it even analyzes gain if it couldnt do nothing about it?.. otherwise, it works great

  • @dnch No shit man! so dumb! also . it cant analize a whole song data base @ once say you got 1000 electro songs u want the key to and u dont wanna do it bit by bit like a lifeless drone. it will crash, lock up and really piss u off. and wtf is with no flac ? i think me and u are the only ones left in the world who accualy like to "hear" the music lmao! to everyone who doesnt know who flac is enjoy those 320 kbps files :-D

  • Great work Danny and team! Got me started super-quick on a piece of software I bought months ago but had been putting off getting to grips with.

Going forward, I reckon that the file renaming conventions are going to be pretty key, so to speak. After much agonizing, I've gone for 'Write key in front of the Comments' and automatically rename files 'Original File Name - Key - BPM'. Key info is useful but ability to sort by track name is crucial!

  • Mixed In Key has so for worked out pretty well well for me, except it would be nice to get it to read winamp playlists so you could process an entire collection of music at once.
