  • Hey you mind showing me how this runs on Team Fortress 2? Thanks I'd really appreciate it.

  • @Kuzo53 Alright, sure. Will be up in two days.

  • @breznk Wow thanks dude. I really appreciate it man.

  • like GRID, Assasin Greed

"Assassins Greed? Uhuuu new game? (:

  • So you play on maxed settings and you dont have fps drops?

  • HD4870 or GF250GTX !?

  • I would go with HD4870. GF250GTX is slower than GTX 260 which is on pair with HD4870.

  • is this game on ps3 cuz i want it

  • @96cammy This game is PC exclusive. The sequel Crysis 2 will be for PS3, Xbox 360 and PS3.

  • @breznk so its for PS3 xbox and PS3 LOL?

  • Yeah, sorry my mistake. I wanted to type PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. But that goes for the sequel Crysis 2. Crysis 1 is PC only.

  • nope it isnt, pc only

  • nääääää extremly bad you know -.-

  • Nice game! i want to buy and computer whit:

    Hd4870

    Proc.Intel core 2 duo E8400

    Motherboard. Asus p5q-E

    Its good?

  • It's not bad. But get a quad core processor. They are pretty cheap nowdays.

  • Quads dont o/c as high as a dual due to the extra heat unable to transfer as quickly out of the die. There still just isn't that many single applications that will benifit from a quad. If you plan on compressing videos and downloading torrents at the same time your gaming then yes, you may benifit. Few years ago I had a E6600 and upgraded to the Q6600 and saw NO DIFFERENCE in real world performance. Synthetic CPU benchmarks showed improvement. Synthetic video banchmarks showed little.

  • I could overclock the E6600 higher anyways and easily make up the difference and then some. Save your money. Get a dual and o/c the hell out of it. Get a cheap one with a 1066 bus. You'll have more headroom for a stable overclock without having to push the northbridge so far. No need for the i7 quite yet. The bottle-necks in computers isn't the CPU at this time. I'd give that at least a year or two.

    $.02

  • Actually CPU is the bottle-neck in the PC. Compared to GPU, CPU is like nothing.

  • Plug in another monitor and throw taskman on it. What's the CPU usage while playing your favorite game?

  • depends on your grafical settings

but I say, its the PC

  • daaang ur like bruce lee punchin all those things :O

anyways, is crysis really as fun as it looks? :D

  • Funny, people in my town call me Bruce Lee cause of my haircut lol. Anyway, if you have a good computer, Crysis won't let you down. It's perfect game to have some fun.

  • i have 9800gt card. think i can run crysis? maybe not on high settings, but smoothly? i got 2gb ram and a 3ghz duo core processor

also, im thinking about upgrading my pc but i remember hearing that you have to get moer power and stuff, you know where i can find out how much power i would need? :]

  • Of course you can run Crysis. Definitely on High settings, but i'm not sure for Very High. And don't upgrade yet. Wait for Intel Core i5 processors, they may be around 200$-300$ and soon new generation of Graphics card are coming(ATi 5xxx and NVIDIA GTX 3xx). Don't upgrade yet or you'll be sorry :P

  • Is my computer good for games ?

Intel Dual Core 2 Quad 2,88 Ghz Q9550

HIS Radeon HD4870 1 gb IceQ turbo

    4092 MB RAM

    650 W Netagg

    Good ??

  • You know for yourself that the computer is good. You don't have to write the same comment on three of my videos....

  • what fps are you getting??

  • From 20-40.

  • I run Crysis Warhead at 1280x1024 on enthusiast settings with only 20 fps. I use a 2.8ghz duo core and a HD 4870. Is my CPU bottle necking it?

  • What kind of duo core do you have?! I think it's the cpu, if you can upgrade, upgrade to a core 2 duo E8x00. Because those are still very good for an old proc.

  • AMD Athlon x2 7750, its OC'd to 3.1Ghz

  • yes just a bit, get a quad core, or a higher frequency dual core. Maybe even get a second 4870 to deal with the high resolutions. What Ram do you have?

  • 4GB ram, 512mb video ram

  • ATI video cards have been know not be good performers at high res.

  • What do you guys think about my monster-pc:

Graphic: VIe Unichrome UGP Integrated Card 64mb

    RAM: Kingstone 800mhz 128mb

    HDD: 80GB

    Procesor: Celeron D 2,8 Ghz

In CS 1.6 i have like ~20-30 fps

    Saper at 90 fps.

    ?

  • Awesome computer mate! I wish i had one of those! ^^

  • what video recorder are you using?

  • I used FRAPS here. Now i'm using ZD recorder.

  • Comment removed

  • is that all very high?

  • crysis cant be recorded with fraps, its too laggy

  • Well i recorded it with FRAPS, so it's possible XD

  • yeah, but I mean if u record this game with fraps is almost impossible to appreciate the quality of the graphic card, it can be very lag, I think if u record this game with a camera, it may look better

  • i got great framerates recording with fraps but about 15 seconds took up 4gb so i decided that was the end of that lol

  • lol

  • I'm getting this card soon, tell me, do you get a pretty decent Frame rate on Very high and High resolution?

  • Well sort of. You get from 20-40, but i would say average is 28.

  • of course youll have same performance has a gtx280... at least u want to spend over 300 buck more for the only 2 video cards that are stronger wich are the 4870X2 and the gtx295

  • You can get better framerate by tweaking (more like correcting) a .XML file in your Crysis folder for ATI card users. There is a thread about it in the NGHQ website, might do a little digging to find it.

  • I pass this game 4 times and im passing it over and over again cause I cant admire enough to that graphic :)

  • Hey im building my first computer its:

    Gigabyte GA-MA78G Mobo

    AMD64x2 5400 Black Edition @ 2.8ghz

    G.Skill 4GB of ddr2 800

    Corsair 750W PSU

    (and probably) a Sapphire 4870 512MB of GDDR5

    Windows Vista Home SP1 (64-bit)

What do you think of my system, im pretty sure itd be about the same, but because you have a quad core im not so sure

  • Why are you taking AMD? I'm not a fan of Intel, but at the moment they have for superior processors than AMD. Take a Core 2 Duo or Quad from Intel.

RAM and power supply are great!

  • like $50-75 cheaper, and i would have to change the mobo also, which means BIOS, updates and really boring shit lol

  • Oh i didn't know you already own the Mobo. It's probably gonna be a quite good system. ;)

  • why are you taking the 512 mb version of hd 4870 ?? the 1gb version is really better in widescrean

  • oh shit thanks for saying that i didnt even think about it lol

  • yep np :):P

  • hoy many fps do you have?

  • I don't remember quite(i haven't played for ages and now i'm on Windows 7), but i think average was somethere 34-37FPS.

  • LOL i likes your gameplay style n_n

  • Thank you ;D

  • looks very nice!!!

(Do you mean, its the same with the Club3D HD4870???)

    greetz

  • Avoid CLUB3D. It really has a terrible quality of it's products. Buy a Sapphire with better cooling so you will be able to overclock it sky high!

  • OK, i've changed to Sapphire^^

    thx

  • even though nvidia is advertised in this game, I still think ATI cards work best. looks nice man, nice playin'.

  • 0:43 lets punch it 2 death? rofl

  • Is the Sapphire noisy at fan load or any level?

  • You can hear the noise of the graphic card if you set the fan speed over 30%. Before that it's quite.

  • resolution?

  • At this video 1280x1024, but now i have a 22" widescreen(1680x1050)

  • LOL you take those nasties to town chuck norris style!

  • The sounds of this mission Blow up in My house..

  • awesome man, my comp has the same specs and i'm getting a 4870 in the next few weeks to run GTA4 using crysis as a cross-reference... impressive =)

  • What is the exact sapphire video card model...sapphire makes different kinds of 4870's...

  • It's 512MB GDDR5 model. No OC or anything else. Normal card.

  • Your pc specs plz?

  • Check the beggining of the video -.-'

  • How many FPS are u getting in crysis with those specs?

  • SOMEBODY HELP ME!

    ''hang in there''

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM looolololol :P omg...i've been playing the missions at hardest and im just at part 3 :P been plaing for days...

  • are they on very high setting or just high? Oh and is your 4870 an 4870x2?

  • Please tell what res you r playing at?

  • In this video i'm playing at 1024x1280, but now i have a new 22" inch screen and i play at Very High (XP tweak), 2x Antialiasing and 1680x1050.

  • yo bro you play like a maniac, and hd4870 run this game smoothly eh, great set up

  • Thanks for the kind words! ;)

  • its the truth :}

  • does anyone know how good a single gtx 260 runs crysis?

  • Pretty close to HD4870. 3-5 FPS lower.

  • Rofl, "Hang in there" BOOM!

  • Perfect timing :P

  • why do you use 280GTX as a tag? Now I find something I don't wanna find!!! LOL nice vid anyway.

  • those fucking aliens have martydom on

cod4 player know what im talking about.

  • I agree!

  • ya pew pew.

  • Do you the length of the HD4870 ? And HD4850 ?

I'm asking this because I want to know if it fits my case.

  • how to record in those quality´s ? i meen fraps cant even make it to 40 fps =(

  • the human eye cannot see over 30 fps, so it doesn't really matter. A higher FPS, one that's over 30, doesn't do much for you

  • How can you say that the human eye can't see more than 30 fps? Are you blind or just ignorant? Or, do I have super crazy vision that can see a difference up to about 90...

  • Both wrong, the human eye sees at 24 FPS, but the maximum is 60, above 60 u dont know the diference between 60 and 6000 FPS

  • but the brain is said to process around over thousands of images a second , even tho we cannot tell it , so yes , we cannot percieve more than 25 fps , but brain calculates thousands

  • Yeah but no lag spikes and no slow parts with Max possible settngs Not realistic but actual reality.

  • its best for a game to haveat least 40 fps average , so yes games need to be higherthan 30 fps for goodgameplay

  • You can tell a little when its over 30 FPS, but its nothing noticeable really at all. I do agree that an average of 40 fps is best, anything over isn't gonna do much.

  • i only got a 8800gt , so for crysis i play at the lowest widescreen resolution , if u sit back far enough it looks pretty good and runs very smoothly on highest settings ,. and i dont even have the patches for the game cas its a pirate copy so it runs worse

  • do NOT pirate crysis, IT SCREWS EVERYTHING, god damn it

  • i nkow , runs slower :D

  • u play with dx9 right?

  • Exactly.

  • What's the resolution?

A suggestion: Play on Delta difficulty.

  • Resolution is 1280&1024. It's the resolution my screen is alowing at max (19").

I am playing at Delta for about a week. It's actually much better, because there is challenge and you must work really tactital to complete a level.

  • Very high settings?

  • In this video settings are high. Now i'm using very high with XP hack.

  • It truly is an awesome card. U getting the 4870 x2? =) beats 4870 in CF =P

  • nice rig man. i have a very similar system.

sapphire 4870, q6600, p5q-e, ocz 4 gigs but i have vista 32bit and it only recognizes 3.25 gigs which kinda sucks

  • Same with me. I have XP 32-bit! Hehe we got the same systems. Just that you got Vista.

  • lol yea, i just got crysis today, good game and all but it sometimes when its saving it crashes on me i had to turn down the res and settings to make it a little better but it still happens. did u have any problems like this?

  • Yeah i actually had this problems. One day i quick saved the game just before it crashed. That corupted saved games and every time i tried to load any save game the game crashed. But soon i realized that i can access this saved games by starting a new game and loading saved games from there.

  • You mean 25-35 FPS without Fraps? What resolution?

  • Of course without FRAPS. I'm running Crysis at 1280x1024. I can't get higher because i have a 19" inch monitor.

  • Avg. Fps?

  • In action 25-35 FPS. Normally constantly plus 30 fps.
