I do agree that there is a serious problem with the official time keeping in the NFL. This year alone I've watched 3 games where the officials absolutely lost control of the clock & were clueless about the situation. Problem with this argument is that the game would of been played different after ever error you cite...giants would of picked up the pace. On the 3rd down, the clock re-started at "ready for play - which is correct
after the 4th down, they stopped it at 1:28. Count down yourself the time from 1:28 to the end. It's 8 seconds - leaving 1:20 - when Giants took the time out. Yes it's not running during his run - but notice that the clock cuts off a few seconds quickly at one stage. So no time is actually gained

This year alone I've watched 3 games where the officials absolutely lost control of the clock & were clueless about the situation. They don't do it purposely to screw any particular team, but some team is getting screwed any way you look at it.

Problem with this argument is that the game would of been played different after ever error you cite...giants would of picked up the pace. The game wasn't rigged, it's just that officials always error on the side of caution because they don't want to make the BIG MISTAKE that makes them go down in history. You can find errors like this in every game. On the Jacobs first down, the problem was reff. communication...I think they were just rattled by the magnitude of the moment.

well. although your video does prove a great point, if your clock (real clock) was done correctly in the real game, the game situation would have changed (no huddles, spiking, timeouts during certain times, passes towards sidelines, etc) so therefore you cant depict the exact ending to this game, although if the game was to be played the way it was with the correct clock, then your statement is true. nice observation, the patriots had a great season.

On the 3rd down, the clock re-started at "ready for play - which is correct
after the 4th down, they stopped it at 1:28. Count down yourself the time from 1:28 to the end. It's 8 seconds - leaving 1:20 - when Giants took the time out. Yes it's not running during his run - but notice that the clock cuts off a few seconds quickly at one stage. So no time is actually gained
