  • You should study English English ;) hehe

  • Anna sweetie, girl you are so beautiful. No point in learning an American accent to attract American boys. You needa learn British accent, even the Americans want to talk like British, well most. Cause thats like where English began the former language. Trust me, I am a American idiot.

  • @AnnaUnknown1994 Your English is very nice. I would advise you to pronounce more away from the back of your throat and try to imitate the sounds of native speakers in films or music and fix what you think sounds more Russian. You don't sound like a native speaker of American English though. Your Russian accent is definitely there but it's not very strong. Don't forget though that Americans (and others) find Russian accents very attractive.

  • Well, you can do porn in America,no one will ever notice your accent

  • Your accent isn't too bad. You're English sounds good. Watch News on TV and try to immitate them. It will help

  • Like you.

    But I`m like creepy, too.

Just wanted to comment to s.th. and now it´s all "Do THIS and let THAT" and i`m all "Right, were may i shoot you, sucker!".

    Seriously.

I have no Idea, how this here works.

    Can we kill them?

  • well. first i would sing in english. second. i would do a thing like opara where you make your voice high pitch and low pitch. ... :) -------------------- хорошо. Сначала я хотел петь на английском языке. секунды. Я хотел бы сделать такуювещь Опара, где вы делаете ваш голос высокой частоты и низкого тона. ... :)

  • Russians always sucked in everything.

    We should nuke them.

  • @ViciousCritique we have "topol m" .!.

  • @elementpricee yes, right!

  • Did you learn English from a Brit? It sounds like you have a touch of an English accent.

  • @Naiant funny

  • not at all ,,, some americans have more russian accente than you :))))

  • It's slight, but i like accents. It gives language flavor!

  • OMG!!!!! i wanna have THIS accent!!!! i love russian accent and good looking girls with russian accent are damn HOT!!!! hey... where can i swap my german accent with a russian accent? eh eh? :D

  • You sound kinda Southern. But your accent is a little strong. I don't know why you'd want to get rid of your accent though, seeing as most Americans love a sexy accent.

  • well, to me it is a very strong accent.. not that there's anything wrong with it. you speak very well though. with more talking you can gain a general american accent.. but like everyone has said, i'd keep that accent if i were you, but with more experience and studying you'll eventually gain it. you should try living in california or the midwest or something though. it helps when you actually interact with americans..

  • it isn't strong accent. but don't try to loose it...there is nothing sexier than a russian accent!

  • @jupiter22177 Italian accents are great too, if not better!

  • it isnt very strong, it actually sounds a little bit australian to me (to me! for those who are sure to correct me). To be honest theres no reason really to try to get rid of it, accents are nothing to be ashamed of or anything, it's sort of like heritage.

  • It isint storng, but make it stronger cause russian and uk accent on girls is sexy xD

  • its kind of strong but english is good

  • why cant you just keep your russian accent?? i love it!!!!!!!

  • Not too Strong of an accent.

  • No, no, you should speak with the "r"s like in portuguese (the language i've learn when baby) or russian wile you don't get rid of the accent! You would sound much cooler! xD But yeah, you do have a strong accent. Of course not like the woman from the fourth Indiana Jones, but she is pretending that accent, obviously.

  • it's russian but it sounds kick ass

  • Yes you sound Russian.

  • keep the accent, or learn to bring back to this level cause it's a sweet way to speak english. I mean literally sweet, it makes you seem kind and friendly. THe words are all there too which is a hugh plus cause I know people who have lived in the US their whole life and still can't speak R's or Th's and it sound strange. They'll be like "Can I go to da Bat-oom?" and they'll get a "Ok bruce, but make it quick."

  • Its pretty strong lol. Olga Kay has a pretty strong Russian accent too lol :) ( if you don't know, shes a youtuber also )

  • just watch tv and dont go o Phile u will grt mixed up and grt confused k.

  • its strong but keep practi

  • You dont have the stereotypical russian accent. i can tell you have an accent of some kind but hard to tell what it is without knowing. your english is good :D if you want an american accent (for whatever reason lol) just watch a lot of american movies and TV :D

  • it sounds like a mix of Italian asian russian latino and american accents to me lol

  • wow DAZ SUM SEXY ACCENT U GOT THERE

  • (^_^)ты оченъ красивая! у вас есть сильный акцент

i hoped i typed that right.

  • no ui dont hear any russian at all

  • @Kashkadab я из России. Просто коменты пишу на английском. А что ты хотел спросить?

  • Your accent is a bit strong, but coming from an American, American accents aren't all that special. If you really want a general American accent... Focus on the last letter of each word. One thing I notice is that you don't pronounce them. ("About" sounds like "Abou" for example) That's really all I can say. Your accent is beautiful, by the way. :)

  • А где русские, а?

  • mitomke are you still here? Just want to ask you something

  • mitomke are you still here? Just want to ask you something

  • Probably best to live here and immerse yourself in one area. You speak very good english accent is no problem.

  • Good English. don't worry about the accent. Oh, and you are a cuteee!

  • Anna, you can hear a hint of Russian in your accent. You are articulate and speak English well so don't worry about the accent much. You have to remember there are over 30+ accents in the U.S.A. Regional ones and even cities have different accents. What is referred to "General American Accent" which most television and movie personalities try to learn is a "Midwest Accent" dulled down.

  • mild russian accent, for an american well we don't real have one, but hat is in my eyes, try and watch an american movie first, then copy off that, i got a british and slight russian/arab accent.

  • Be sure to use the words "a" and "the" a lot when referring to nouns. Thats the biggest step between russian and english.

  • @BlackMasterRoshi correct sir, but if your using british english, a little bit different

  • @TheDeadman1818 No it isnt! the only reason i brought that up is because russian doesnt even have "a" or "the."

  • @BlackMasterRoshi jacka** it is! but only a little bit, it is the way they form sentences, but what ever she dont give a dam bout that. end of conversastion

  • @TheDeadman1818 Ok, Mr. Spells "damn" as "dam," please educate me as to the difference between English english and American english, with regards to the words "a" and "the." Also you accidentally typed a pair of asterisks when you tried to write "jackass." Is your keyboard broken or did you actually censor the word "ass?"

  • Yes you have and be proud for it!

  • it's not that strong infact it doesn't really sound like a Russian accent at all you just have a deep voice to me you just sound like an American that hit puberty really hard .LOL! but there is some sort of accent but to me it doesn't sound Russian well definatley not a strong one anyway

  • its really adorablee actually LIKE LEELOO!!! ^_^^__^_^_^^

  • They sell for more money if they speak English.

.russian mail order brides, fuck yeah.

  • @helliott123 LOL :D

  • Yea,big time accent, anyone in any state in America would see right off your not American, however on the bright side your English is very good and anyone here,in the UK or pretty much any English speaker would completely understand your words,so there ya go hon.

  • heavy accent, some words sound russian others sound german or dutch. You speak very well but I'm sorry, the accent is very strong. my only suggestion would be to watch tv, it helped my french / trained my ears and brain to distinguish sounds and the general cadence of how native speakers structure sentences

  • Lol, you have an accent but dosnt sound very russian, sound more like a cross between aussie and dutch,

  • Comment removed

  • your english is excellent. your accent doesn't sound russian at all but instead almost like a southern american accent plus british mix..its weird but cute :)

  • It is, of course, noticeable that you have an accent, but I've heard accents that are stronger. Hearing native speakers talk is helpful, as you already know. One other tip is to read English books out loud to yourself. As you do this, your mind / mouth will make adjustments almost unconsciously.

You posted this video a little while ago. How are your studies going now? I wish you all the best!

  • u do =)) but its ok... ur understandable and try watching american shows..you'll get used to their accent eventually

  • You sound like a Russian girl who spent too much time in the ghetto.

  • ты неплохо говоришь по-английски! я учу русский через интернет. давай поможем друг другу!)

  • Yes the accent is very strong. Easy to tell you are from Russia or Ukraine, etc. But you are understandable in English. Best thing is to have an American friend or to watch American TV & movies. I have studied both German and Russian. Much better to have a friend that speaks it. I was once told by a special forces army officer that I speak Russian with a German accent, which I found a compliment he thought in Russian I did not sound like an American. LOL It surprised me.

  • tebya accent kryepkij. do what i do when i'm trying to form my tongue to russian. I sing russian songs. I sucked at first, but now everybody comments on how good my russian speech is.

sing american songs. that way you can hear yourself and how it doesnt agree with how they sing it. your tongue will get stronger in all the right ways.

  • ps try saying the english alphabet a to z in english you use your mouth more rather than your tongue for russian

  • is that it ? you are gorgeous 35 seconds boo hoo

  • @ViciousCritique Nacist?

  • @AnnaUnknown1994 Nacist - oh shi-

    Ur mom

  • @ViciousCritique You are a dog yourself, like seriously. Only an immoral stupid and spiteful dog with nasty foam dripping out of its mouth and with no brain might have said that this cute Russian girl was a dog. You are a dog, look at the mirror bitch.

  • speaking very well, If i didn't know Russian I wouldn't probably place the accent as being more than some E European. Practice not being as staccato with the words (cutting them off quickly), If you can work on that and make it "flow" more together, but you are doing Very well!

Now, If I could only learn Russian :) Dos vidania

  • Hey Anna, why would you want to spoil your cuteness with an American accent? Come to England and learn.

  • @sybyly Probably right on that one, well avoid the Northeast, we tend to be assholes

  • @AnnaUnknown1994

If you attend an american college they will recommend you to take English

as a Second Language classes that are credit related. Studying here is worth it.

  • Your accent is so cute

  • In soviet russia language learns you

  • Your English is very good. You have a strong accent and I would know immediately that you were Russian, but only because I know other kids around your age who have only been in the U.S. for 3-4 years so I can hear the accent. Their accents were as strong as yours 2 years ago but now I have to listen very hard to even tell they are not native English speakers. The best thing you can do is to try to listen to as much English as you can, either online or radio.

  • At what grade you start learning English in Russia? And is english an important class in schools of Russia?

  • @12345678909269 Actually I started learning English on my own in the 4th grade (9-10 y.o.), in school we started to learn English in the 5th grade. In Russia it's pretty important - we have English classes 3 times at week, (Russian literature only 2 times). But most of people in my class, don't study English seriously, they just do it to get a mark. I do it seriously. Whenever I'm gonna move to the U.S.A.

P.S. Correct me if I have made any mistakes please

  • @AnnaUnknown1994 Okey! Here in Sweden we learn English at 3th grade ( 9 years old ) and similiar to you English, Math and Swedish are the 3 most important classes. We have pretty much mastered the English language, but in Russia you guys dub American shows into Russian right? Here in Sweden we dont, witch have helped us alot to get the tones and accent right. By the way why do you wanna move to The United states? And you should keep your accent it sounds great acctually, i'm proud of my accent.

  • @12345678909269 Yes, you are right, we dub all movies and shows into Russian, and I agree, it's not very good for learning English language. I want to move there because my crush lives there :) I think you are right, but I'm afraid to sound too foreign and non understanding. But people say that my accent is ok, so yes, probably I'll keep it.

  • @AnnaUnknown1994 I guess over the years living in The U.S you will start to sound more and more "American" even if you would sound very foreign at the beginning. But you might always have some left of your Russian accent ofcourse. Is your crush Justin Beiber? :P

  • @12345678909269 No :)

  • You sound like you don't understand what you're saying.

  • @avanova100 LOL, It's just the way I sound, I understand what I am saying, believe me :)

  • @AnnaUnknown1994 I wouldn't worry about your accent you sound find understandable, your very pretty. be the unique person who you are. btw if you are living in america then unfortunately like the rest of us foreigners over the next few years your accent will become thinner. but you sound fine and you speak well. hope this helps ;-)

  • @AnnaUnknown1994

i wonder how would You sound speaking in polish ^^

  • @AnnaUnknown1994 Yea your accent is fairly heavy, i mean it is very easy to understand and all but it is easy to tell you are from Russia or at least were raised speaking it. If you want to speak better American English, there is one thing that gives away Russian more than anything to me. when you say for instance, Russia, Russians seem to express the R more than we do. try to shorten the R to just Russia, to us it sounds like Rrrussia. You cant really fix it more than that.

  • @AnnaUnknown1994 omg tht accent is soooo sexy lol it sounds cool

  • Haha! agreed! She does sound very unsure of herself! lol

  • Marry me please.

  • Bawah ;D I want your accent o.o

  • SUPER CUTE, your accent is fairly strong, but easily understood. I'd say just study the language, watch movies, talk to english speaking people. There are many variations of any given language, so you might wind up being influenced by many different aspects of American english in the end.

I'd love to learn Russian, but way too lazy... you have a lot of intelligence to learn multiple languages. I've tired French, and Chinese, but gave up.

  • extend your a's and all your vowels to get an american accent.

  • .. you sound like a southerner... sorta

  • Yes, your Russian accent stands out, but it's not too strong. It actually sounds great, even with your English. If you want more of an American accent, #1 hang out with as many Americans as you can & talk to them a lot. Even as an American, I always notice that my voice automatically imitates/matches the people I'm talking to (the more I talk to them). #2 watch a lot of American movies & pay attention to how we speak in common situations. Your english sounds great so don't change major anything.

  • Your English is super good! I'm still trying myself to speak Russian without an English accent, but it is very hard!

Watch American/English movies and listen to the actors, and try to imitate their accents, that is what I do to learn Russian accents :D

  • Russians are awesome! And that's coming from an Irishman! Well, American Irishman =P But, I think you sound a little more.... German? Maybe Swedish? I can't tell. And with the American accent? Well there's not much to it, but at points you're actually pretty close to speaking with an American accent. =]

  • @DarthRevan2142 That's awesome! Thank you :)

  • Anna your acsent is pretty good actually. If you full stop when the sentence ends, it will be a lot better believe me :D

  • @babkaba Ok :D

  • you sound russian! because you try to speak every word in perfect english. Just talk and dont try do it perfectly thats make you even more sounds like a russian.

Iam Russian too. But my english is nearly American Style :). Living in germany and speaking 3 Languages perfectly. And i can do with and without accent. I do with for jokes. :D

  • @LexusAlex88 Wow! Well done! You are so ...cool! Haha, ok, I'll try my best to follow your advise :)

  • your accent is fine, as long as you're white and have a european accent besides spanish(cuz mexico) accent, you'll do fine in america. The worst case is to have a heavy asian accent, which totally sounds retarded.

  • There's no such thing as an "American" accent, just as there's no such thing as an "English" accent. We are a nation of 300 million people spread across 6 time zones. As Russia is equally large and spread out, I doubt there is a single "Russian" accent. My advice would be to hold on to your accent as long as you can. It's endearing, and it helps you remember your roots.

  • I'm from the U.S. You have a Russian accent but in a good way, you look and sound hot! Don't worry about it. I was listening to people trying to do American accents and it was really funny because they just sounded normal. I guess that's what it's like for you guys too.

  • you do have a russian accent but your english is great and pronunciation is perfect. It will take a little while to lose it but you'll get it. cute too :)

  • You do have a Russian accent, but it's kinda cute. :)

  • @Naebug19 Ok! Thank you :)

  • Comment removed

  • yes, you have a Russian accent, and don't ever lose it. Its a very endearing.

  • screw english

  • спасибо я скоро к тебе зайду

  • You sound like an American actress with a fake Russian accent.

  • you have an accent, but its cute! Don't focus on getting rid of your accent, just keep learning new words, practice grammar etc. Accents are endearing :)

  • I like it

  • haha at first u sounded like an american hillbilly but that was just for the first 3 seconds. yeah u have a pretty big accent. theres not much u can do about it. the only way that u could've learned english without having an accent is if english was ur first language or if u learned english when u were very young.

  • I don't hear any accent! My mom's from Slovakia, very similar to Russia, and it's easy to understand her, probably because I've lived with her by whole life.

  • Sounds German....thats not Russian lol

  • i think you're very cute:D

  • привет там, ваш английский очень хороший и очень американский Честно говоря, я не слышать русский акцент на всех.

    Прости мою русские litte ржавый

  • @caledoniankilt Привет! Спасибо большое! Удачи с русским :)

  • you dont have to say (my english language) you just say (my english)

  • @hahhhahhhaha Ok, thank you :)

  • мягче буквы надо

  • It helps to use the word "the"

  • you still have russian accent but + american too

  • you do have a pretty strong russian accent... but i honestly think accents are adorable, most people do too. Your english is pretty good too...

  • Yep, you've got accent, in some parts of US it would be thick and in some it would be somewhere lesser. I didnt get few words u said, u kinda mumbled it. Your english is nice, keep on learning;learning english is a better idea than doing drugs :) anyways accent is very visible, there are lots of accents in US differ from state to state but ur accent sounds %100 foreign. Most foreign accents sound awesome so youre lucky

  • @Kbabykgirlk Thank you! Can you please tell me somehow what words exactly I mumbled? That's very important...

  • @AnnaUnknown1994 I will try to get them all. "I study American English" took me 2 tries to get that one, try slowing down. You roll r's a bit but thats what makes accents cool though :)I think you said "I just want you to tell me"but I am not sure 0:06, "thoughts" sounds different from state to state, we pronounce it different but ur way sounds more like someone from New Jersey :) You sound like you are trying too hard, should breath more and relax a little, u doing a great job.

  • @AnnaUnknown1994 you did well with the rest just sounded a little tense :) like I said, u r doing very well so no need to be tense.

  • @AnnaUnknown1994 ooh forgot to tell you...you sound like you have lived in US for a while, some Russians live for 13 years in US and have accent way stronger than yours :) Just wanted to point that out so you have more confidence.I learned english naturally so Idk what its like to learn it nevertheless I think if I was learning it, id be much worst that you.Who knows lol

  • @AnnaUnknown1994 Mumbled words in order: study, tell me (ran together a bit), is it really (ran together a bit), You sound good, it is just some words run together instead of being discrete words. Bear in mind you have a VERY good command of English -- you just need to slow down slightly and use just a little bit more diction. I am guessing you might have run your words together because you were making a video. In normal conversation your speech might be flawless.

  • @AnnaUnknown1994 That's a great Accent you got there. I can understand you clearly. Im american and im trying to learn russian myself. It's kinda hard for people from Eastern Europe to have an american accent though. it's quite easy for English and Irish people to use the English accent though. but for you, it's actually really good.

  • wow. your english is amazing

  • акцент есть, заметный, но не бедовый :) Полюбому пройдёт, когда ты разговоришься :)

  • Не потеряйте Ваш русский акцент!! Это очень мило. И я пару, много девочек вероятно ревновать его (:

  • why would you want to lose your russian accent? you would make all the girls jealous because all the boys would be hanging around you. but if you MUST pay special attention to the "Rs" pronounce each one. without rolling. and the vowels are (aaay eeeeya eye oh you)

  • @amyhuk Ok, thanks for responding :)

  • It's russian and a touch of french too. It's not strong and the english is like PERFECT! I'm American <.< but yeah...

  • Im am Russian myself and yes you have a slight Russian accent, but i used to have it too, till i came to USA and just learned normally without accent....

  • я 12 лет в америке, студент, да впринцепи акцент есть, ябы понял что русская.

  • yes, you do have an accent, it's not really strong. to make your English better you should watch more American movies. good luck!

  • @tmrwnever Thank you :)

  • yeah. you sound foreign. if you want to sound american try to emulate movies. just watch and try to speak the way they do. i heard thats how charlize theron did it. shes from south africa and her american accent is spot on.

  • @SchleyFam1 Ok, thanks for help :)

  • I would have to say that your accent is pretty strong compared to some of the American English speakers near Indiana where I live. No matter what you do you will always have an accent no matter where you go because everyone has their own way of speaking a language and their own dialects. Kudos on your English, it's a lot better than most people that learned it as a second/or however many language. I can't stand some of the dialects in America, especially the steriotypical redneck. Your's is good

  • I'm French and have no accent at all, so my word of advice to you is to keep talking and sing in that language. Your accent will eventually go away, and if it doesn't, don't worry, guys like it. ;) Ciao~

  • Comment removed

  • You sound like your nasal passage is clogged lmao....

  • У вас есть большой английский и ваш акцент не слишком сильно :).

  • You sound Russian. Not too strong but, yeah pretty evident though. It's a good thing actually. Always liked that accent when one speaks in English.

  • I hear a russian accent but it's not very strong....I don't understand why you would want to change it anyway...I really hear it when you talk really slow so it's best to speed it up a bit

  • Jesus Christ she is hot.

  • well...i wouldn't call it STRONG but it's quite obvious...your English is very good though...we can totally understand you, so don't worry! you're fine! :)
