  • Can anyone say "torque steer?" Hahaha. I'll bet this was fun though. :)

  • What Mods you got? I'm not there yet! (: Waiting on my HPCDFP, What injectors you using?

  • @Zurdomvp haters gonna hate, lol.

  • @Zurdomvp If it was supposed to imitate a subaru, it would have awd. Dumbass

  • @Zurdomvp Yeah,The Boxer Engine,the AWD and 2.500ccm.Like subaru.....dumbass

  • YES!!

  • my dad just saw the description he is in 4th so he is more then likely making 400whp to everyone who is dynoing in the gear ur supose to wich is closely 1:1 5th gear for this car but i wonder what the difference in readings are

  • @TheTeamfrostbite

He would get more power on the dyno from 5th gear or even 6th gear as they produce more load. Why the fuck would he get more power from 3rd or even 4th? Because of the "ratio" producing more torque? LOLOLOLOL I can only imagine that's how you're thinking of it.

  • @lq4fcrx7 you are making more "power" in a lower gear because the output of the transmission is faster then what the engine is producing you want to do it in 1:1 because the output is the same as the input.

  • @TheTeamfrostbite

No you're not... I have a dyno and have done this hundreds of times. It's about LOAD... the dyno doesn't give a fuck about your gear ratio, it's all based on load. When you change the ratio output of what's being produced from the engine you create less load. By your logic he would make 600whp in 1st gear. This irrefutable, go test it for yourself and post the video.

  • @TheTeamfrostbite yes, your right. but you're also wrong. taller gears create more HP (increasing torques ability to do work), say 6th gear. in first, however, you have more torque and less horsepower. they function inversely. thats how mechanical drives work. the dyno doesn't care, it takes all this into consideration when spitting out #s. i believe thats where the correction comes into play?

  • what gear was that in didnt seem like direct drive to me

  • Really nice engine dude!

  • that sounds really good.

  • put in an auqa -mist system

  • @shizzel122 I actually had a meth injection kit (devilsown), but, took it out for the nitrous. This car actually doesnt exist anymore, it was parted out and sold in early 2010

  • @sf58734 why did you sell this monster?!!!

  • there's nitrous on that thing. zex wet "brain" right there

  • @andrew1501 yep, thats no secret. 100 shot.

  • what kinda rims do u have on ur speed, they look good

  • @yecanfly Enkei RS-V 18x7.5 in bronze

  • Where is the dyno sheet? Without the camera panning to that, the vid is pretty useless imo. What was ambient and elevation? If you made those numbers, congrats! Next time include a screen shot of the whp/wtq.

  • dam almost mid 400's with only a gt3071 BADASS!!!

  • lol myisms3fast.....this one faster ;)

  • i wonder how muhc he has in the build so far lol

  • A telltale sign of bad tuning on the 2.3L DISI is always when your tq# is higher than your HP#.

Guys like to crank up their boost indiscriminately, get a million foot lbs at 4000rpm, bend rods and then they wonder why they it all happens only for ~400whp. With that turbo setup you should be seeing higher WHP than torque, especially since you dropped compression!!!

  • Well, you seem rather smart on the subject, so you should also know that in a turbocharged application, the use of nitrous greatly increases the torque, due to the cooling effects of the nitrous. You will be happy to know that the car was recently tuned by Custom Performance Engineering, and without nitrous produced 394whp/400wtq on a mustang dyno, followed by 428whp/380wtq on a dynojet.

  • @sf58734 damnnnn, you got 394whp on the heartbreaker P3/CP-e mustang dyno?!

  • @dynodrew44 yea, that was without nitrous though. cpe released a new flash that removed some limitations in the ms3. supposedly their dyno reads so low that not long before i was on it a modded GTR dyno'd at 380whp

  • @sf58734 daaaaaaaaaang, i dont feel too bad about my 268awhp on it then. hahahaha. i knew it was low, but i didnt know it was THAT low.

  • @sf58734 380 whp is really low for a modded GTR, hell thats really low for a stock GT-R. BTW I'm looking at installing a 75 shot on my MS3. How reliable was your setup so I can reference for my decision?

  • @kageryu311 the dyno that was on is a very low reading mustang dyno. On a stock motor, I wouldnt likely go higher than a 35-50 shot. I was running 100-125, but my motor was built with lower compression. I never had any nitrous related problems.

  • @socks My motor is forged as well. Didn't cagey on Mazdaspeedforums have a stock motor with his nitrous setup?

  • @kageryu311 No, he has a built motor with stock compression. If your motor is built, you should be able to run 75-100 no problem. my solenoids werent up to the task of a 125 shot.

  • @veltpak6 "A telltale sign of bad tuning on the 2.3L DISI is always when your tq# is higher than your HP#." Then why are our beloved speed 3s rated at 280 tq and 263 hp stock? "Bad tuning" from the factory? I do believe that this engine has tons of potential but Mazda cut corners on its durability to reduce costs. So anyone looking to push the limits on this engine is gonna have to beef up the internals. And what's up with our ecu! FFS

  • whats size turbo and how big of a nitrous shot?

  • wow .MS3 got some balls good to see

  • got alot of money in that wagon :)

  • sucks it took nitrous to do it lol

  • how much can my stock speed handle, power wise. How many psi etc.

    Thanks

  • @f4r20 dont go above 350whp and i wouldnt push it much past 20psi(i havent even brought mine up past 19)

  • @08MS3uknw Mine spikes to 25 sometimes drops back down between 16-20 usually.. Then again im on the stock turbo still

  • @f4r20 20

  • that car must be useless below 40 mph being fwd

  • thats what gear dependent boost controllers are for!!

  • Very nice. Finally people breaking 400 whp.

  • thanks, Its getting a low pressure fuel system upgrade, and some minor kinks here and there should get it over 450whp. This is on the stock head, intake manifold, and throttle body.

  • towards the end of the pull it sounded like v-tec. why is that? i normally dont hear that in other ms3's

  • The car is running a Tial 44mm external wastegate with a screamer pipe

  • GT3071r.

this was a 3rd gear pull, read the description please.

This car also has a 125hp wet kit.

Yes, the shortblock is forged. Pauter Rods and Arias 8.8:1 pistons

  • That was one short pull.

  • Do you have a forged block and a garret turbo?

  • With that type of power he would have to run forged rods and pistons. I'm assuming he's also running a GT35R.
