Elizabethtown - The Saga Commences

Holy balls, what a story dude! I saw "Elizabethtown" the day it came out, and to be honest wasn't too crazy about it. But after the last few years I'd kinda like to see it again, 'cause I'm sure my opinion would be different now after everything. Maybe y'all should have cremated the tire rod and scattered it while playing "Pride" full blast! lol

You know, I just bought and watched the movie the other night after the trip. Reading this comment now about the flaming freebird makes A TON of sense! That's totally what our side-trip to Elizabethtown ended up being. Good stuff. :)

Okay a few things from the other vids. Always inspiring U2 Songs. "Stuck in an Analytical Roundabout and I can't get out of it" (Stuck in a Moment). Andy should have been driving since he would have more roundabout experience. I too would have been upset about the broken tie rod and am a little surprised that Gary analyzed it over and over....NOT! I know that you will eventually look back and come to appreciate the Misadventures of Elizabeths Elizabethtown Detour. LOL

The roundabout wasn't the problem at all. We have them all over the place here. There was parking within the roundabout and it marked kind of odd, so we just had to go through it and then turn around. That's when the tie rod snapped.

We all look at our "misadventures" fondly already! :)

Hey--no problem. Everything worked out just fine and we are so lucky that it broke down when and where it did. It was such a pleasure meeting you and Soli as well. I remember going to Atlanta GA. a few years ago for a juggling competition, we drove through Kentucky and passed signs for Elizabethtown and it was right after the movie had come out, so all the women in the car are yelling and trying to get the driver to take us there.
