How to fix your internet connection

my usb is good my pc to multiple connection is fine but from multiple connection to internet is grey and has a x on it which means it wont work what do i do.. and basically the 2 internets on bottom right corner are blue without the earth on it please help!

my modem got only POWER ETHERNET DSL lights and its all blinking but my internet connection disconnects

all the lights on my modem flash go blank for a second and start flashing again this constantly repeats and I don't know why and if i unplug it from the internet and restart it it stops blinking but of course no internet, what could be the problem???

i have 2 problems that needs urgent reply. 1# My wireless internet keeps switching on and off, and it's like damn annoying. 2# my internet says it's connected and shit, but it isn't. my flatmate says it's the DNS thingy. what problem is it for me??!! HELPP!!!!!! :I :( >< AHH!!!

Alright dude thanks for the help. i would just like to know if you could answer a question for me, now my computer had recently be disconnecting completely like my modem (i dont have a router) has been almost resetting itself, and its been getting worse and worse, where now it will disconnect itself within minutes.. I'd at first assumed it was a harsh virus (i have no idea whats what with comps) im going to try clean all the plugs and see if that works do you have any ideas on whats wrong?

hmmm i keep losing connection off the damn internet for like 10 seconds then the instantly back....its annoying its not my modem i bought 2 different ones still the same thing and then used just a cable.. still the same thing and i scanned my computer with antivirus and also my isp says everything from their side is perfect just like the router people

right back please, when i put my cable inside my hard drive a sound comes not the sound that, your computer has found it. but a similar but diffrent sound and then my computer does nothing.i cant download the thing so i can use my internet help please...

okay my problem is that my house is big and the max ft of the router is 150ft and my computer is 100ft away from it so i don't get a good connection usually about 1-2 bars /5 and i bought an extender but it doesn't seem to helping at all it just disconnects my internet ... ($100) p.o.s but yea help me if you can. like any advice on what to buy and what you would rely on thx.

sup im having a problem opening my home page which is yahoo. it says internet explorer cannot connect and i diagnose it. it says a problem with your router or modem preventing an internet connection. but for some reason when i click on my favorites the internet works like this example that i can use utube. isnt my laptop problem or my router? im using a plug right now not wireless

Also, DNS stands for Domain Name Server, most likely meaning the connection isn't complete, and that you can't access that server.

It's probably just some configuration issue, can the other computers at least FIND the network but not connect?

Hi could you help me please, i have a d-link wirless and also a d-link modem thing. But on my mode my adsl keeps disconnecting like every 10- 30mins. This is very annoying when your trying to play games. My other wireless things are fine like the laptop its still connected but internet keeps disconecting . ANY 1 HELP PLEASE

This is hard to tell... It could be either a hardware problem (faulty modem or router) or it could be the ISP's fault. All I can suggest doing for now is cleaning out all connections. I'm sorry it took so long for a reply.
