I remember when Ms. Melba Tolliver first wore her hair natural on air on ABC news for the first time in the 1970's. The reaction from many white Americans was so negative and nasty that she went back to straightening her hair. Anyway its good to see Ms. Tolliver especially with natural hair and still looking good (-; .... Peace!

I am so proud that I had the opportunity to see this sister up close and in personal last nigiht at Long Island College University in Brooklyn, N.Y. It was a true honor to hear her story. We honor this sister as she paved the way for other sisters like me to go forward in the workplace wearing our natural hair. Thank you Miss Melba for standing up and wearing it proud!

I remember watching Melba with Pia anchoring the 5pm news on WNBC. Melba, you look great!
