amd chips can do more work faster than intel with same amount of cores and clock speed. that said an amd 2.0ghz single core is approximately the same performance of an intel 2.3 or 2.4 chip amd was also the first to make a true quad core. amd chips are also cheaper to buy the motherboards and ati chipsets are cheaper as well. so when it comes down to it Intel plays their performance way more than they should and basically the extra 200-300 $'s you pay for the chip is for the name Intel

Hey there twisted i went into a game and turned the textues to low but it did not take the glow off my guns.. so i fooled around with other settings.. Go into your graphics options and see if your

Specular maps is ON not off.. when i turned that off it was the only thing that made the glow off my gun disappear

That's where you are wrong my friend. The GTX's are about the same as the GT, the only difference is that the GTX can support higher resolutions for widescreens, etc. Therefore, gamers using regular sized monitors have no need for the upgrade.

And my new PC is gonna be about the same. Except I will be using an Athalon X2 6400+ and the case beats the shit outa that one ;)
