  • Rocking this song.

  • kumasi14 U are right they dont try

  • Not originally african! A lot of western (British and American) influence. I like the original african music and dances

  • @marahlia you must be kidding me, the song is original...the beat is sooo original..listen to the beat.non western what so ever.expect maybe their wardrope thats it.

  • Beautiful African sisters shaking and rubbing all over themselves. I want to visit Ghana, as well as other African nations, but I can stay in the US and see the exploitation of Black women in the name of "music". I pray to the Most High that you all don't turn Africa into the sewer that America has become for our Black Queens.

  • what does it mean? lady wei?

  • @MsAakifa it means this lady it is the language Ashanti

  • @rydasubhana

    oo ok thanks

  • @MsAakifa you are welcome my dear

  • @MsAakifa Lady Wei literary means this/that lady. All he is saying is that this/that lady is the one, the one that he loves. Her beauty is like a dove, her teeth white like snow and he can't resist her when she looks at him with her shiny eyes. He should have come up with a romantic video to go with such poweful lyrics. To me the video is more like ashao type but I dig the message.

  • @ROIMIMOS thank u for explanation. i dig the message too bro

  • i'm haitian no matter where you're from in the planet if you are black we are all african i love what u guys doing the music is great

  • nice song

  • ich finde diesen song sehr gut

  • @ghanasprincess actually yeahh ur rite. it's the other way around hindi language is mixed with african languages, like telegu, for example. some southern indian languages have east african and west african origins. it makes sense cuz africa and india were once connected as a continent. cwo . com/ ~lucumi/india4.html

  • @ariagia interesting, can I say let us black Africans be proud of being African and Black, we dont need to associate ourselves with another culture for respectfullness of our names! I have also noticed this connection but noticed Indians instant denial of anything African or any association with our people whatsoever, and realize we need to be black and proud and stop wanting to be something else, Im not saying thats what you are doing at all! im just saying it!

  • @DjKelavey you hot the nail right on the head. We Africans try to copy the culture of others. All of humanity originated from Africa, hence we are the original people of this earth yet we are the last in all spheres of human endeavour. WHY? Because we are not proud of who we are. We are by nature very loving and caring and thats what others have taken advantage of to enslave us and treat us bad. But we have something they can never take away and thats the FIRE. We will keep on surviving

  • @DjKelavey agreed!! fuck indians, we dnt want anything to do with them.

  • Comment removed

  • @curvaciousakos no west africans have anything to do with them. it the kenyans that mix with them.

  • @ariagia thats bullshit and not fact.

  • i lovvee dissssssssssssss sooooooooooooooonngg... reminds me of da love of my lyfe x

  • He even managed to add some Yoruba(Nigerian language). Sun ma agbo. (Get closer to the stage/arena) and Sun ma mi(Get closer to me).

  • @zhonni isss ittt .... wow i thought it was Gaa

  • @zhonni loool woow actually my friend hu is from accra n speak Gaa told me it mean bigg love ... wow but yoruba n Gaa r quite simular from wat i hav heard

  • @ashatay Wow!!! If that is the case, it's something else. I know of words meaning different things in different Languages but never a phrase or a Sentence. I think there is a story to tell when somebody studies the language of the world and how they are interconnected or different. It has always amazed me when the Igbos in Nigeria have names similar to the Japanese or vice versa. Is there a story there? I would like to know. Thanks for your reply though.

  • @zhonni the is talkin bout how much he loves this girl, and all the things he loves about her basically lool .. he is speakin a mixture of Gaa and twi, ur welcome x

  • I am Jamaican but love everything Ghana music, food and de women just give de music more air play. Ghanaian music is ready to take the world by storm. The only failure is failing to try.

  • @kumasi14 but it sounds like it is. There's some hindu in there. Just like the Ivorians are incorporating Indian style music (hindu) in their songs. like that Ivorian song don't remember the exact name but it goes Co lay wah eyo wah eee and there was an indian guy in there singing.

  • @arsenalkid8706 once again get this thru shit thru ur head..there is no hindu in here!!! wt the fuck do ghana need to put hindu in our music for??? we have our own languages..no thanks..!!!

  • I love ghana musics I am mauritian but still love any african musics i have a whole tapes with ghanian music, africa rocks xxxx

  • @ghanaiancaramel I will tell you this, Kwah Kese is my fav!

  • This is refreshing that i don't see the bleach out faces like so many african videos. respect to Ghana

  • You've gotta be kidding! Ghana is an antetype for some other lands in Africa. Nigeria was even jealous that Obama wasn't in Nigeria so pls check you're research!

  • Must be another disgruntled Nigerian

  • r u stupid?

  • no no no no

  • hey im african, n i never heard ghana language before, is amazing, but the music bit same kenya dimbolo... keep at the good work.

i like when he says no chimiya

  • Nice song and girls..sound like lumba

  • i love this video keep it comming guys ,good job ,nice girls , i just love the way they move

  • Ungodly images = lack of culture? what is the connection?, i don't live in Ghana but i know its attitudes like yours that keep Ghana running behind the times, if you are a conservative good for you, to each their own however when an artist displays his work and people like you get on your dated high horses and criticize their hard work its uncalled for.. times are changing which is not to say morals should be left behind but acceptance and tolerance will make Ghana a better nation

  • Yeah I agree with you...There is no sense of belonging and Identity. Westenization doent mean we shouldnt be civilized

  • glad to hear from someone living in the real world.. not their 'idealized' paradise which is not what the world we live in is....

  • Let me put on my sunglasses so I can

see what I'm doing. Check out SHUGGIE

    OTIS BOOTIE COOLER.

  • My attitude is to each his/her own. What is this person talking about, worldly, ungodly images? Just don't let your children watch things you don't want them to see. Sex is not something dirty or shameful as taught in Judeo-Christian religious. If it were not for sex, none of us would be here. It amazes me how people sit and watch videos that they do not like. If I don't like something, I turn from it immediately.

  • get with it ,get ur head out of the sand ,yhat a magnific video

  • I love Ghana!

  • 8 years ago,west-africa was a very conservative place to raise children.what happened? why so many worldly and ungodly image?I tough west-africa is a better place to be when it comes to a proud culture?

  • which language is he speaking in the video?

    nice music, nice rhythm...

  • colored contacts lol!!!

  • Africans are just as bad as us AA's with the weaves, wigs, colored contacts lol and whole lightskin vs. darkskin thing too, ya just as bad as us. Eventhough some of ya videos tend to have more dark skinned women in them than AA's music videos.

  • I Wanna Be... this is an interesting comment and I have to agree.

  • Aight! you damn right brother! This video ist really cool, and doesn't have to hide from the AA's ones...

By the way , i'm doubly proud, coz from togo as neighbour country ;-)

  • what means "AA's"

  • shut u fucking mouth think before u open mouth....what u know about african...BITCH!!!!

  • lovely song. he has a great voice!!!

africans - the original booty shake = wine....watch and learn jamaica, usa, etc!!

as a matter of fact these girls are HOLDING BACK b/c they are wearing western styles, in african clothes u can really get to APPRECIATE our dance heritage

    go ghana!! keep it up!!!

  • j adore

  • exellent ......lady wei...lijeii lim roww my lady zooma aboo..wei wei lady weii lady weii weii

  • She's a beauty, but why the contacts and why the sagging jeans? Is it known that that is an invitation to your Butt in prison culture? and plus it looks unkempt. I like the song and his voice though.

  • where dow you life

  • mi loveing diz song even doh im english looooool

    xxxxxx

    diz man is boooooooooom tooooooo

    xxxxx

  • I like it

  • i feel you ujazz, they bit certain things without the swagger to it, for instance the blue contacts, lol you can tell they study their diasporic sisters and brother style but then they drift off. it starts to look generic.

  • Great talent...and thanks for posting. This is obviously a hit!

  • hey excelente canción....hacia rato no escuchaba musica de africa,...

  • great video and song but why does that woman have blue contacts??? she looks like a crazy drag queen!

  • what a unique combination of the occidental and the African. i don't understand what he's saying put can appreciate the solo guitar so characteristic of afro-pop genre. The only take back is the video clip, looks like his trying to hard to make hip pop like, your authenticity takes a huge heat when you do that.
