(Kinda seems to go hand-in-hand with the extreme "pucker factor" of a gunfight, but I digress.) Obviously however, if they had simply "talked to them nicely" those naughty bank robbers would have surrendered immediately. "Excuse me, please put down your guns so we can share tea and crumpets..." :)
