Its related to getting like 10 Semi Conductors. Almost any Necromorph that gives you or would give you a tough time like Brutes, Nests, Guardians and such drop them. Brutes are the "It's a GORILLA!"-Brad, Nests are the annoying jellyfish spitting things in the space segments of the game and Guardians are the male variants found on the walls in certain chokepoints. Both can be killed pretty ez with a Detonator mine direct contact or two.

u gotta get closer with the force gun, i say as close as u can melee them. tat way its more effective. sometimes its instant kill gun, most of the time it handicaps them. its kinda like using a shotgun with it being super effective up close and useless mid to far range.

Yes, there are, but it's more the atmosphere of the game, not the monsters in it that DS uses to make itself. I mean, you could have waves of monsters coming at you and it be no big deal. But to have a game make you wonder if something is going to jump out of a corner or come out and maul you to death, that psyches your mind out and brings terror into your mentality. It's not the knowledge of the next monster being big and scary, it's not knowing when & where it's coming from.

The Dead Space games are not horror games, in my own opinion (which I am QUITE ENTITLED TOO) they are more terror games. The darkness, the sounds, the creepiness, these are more terror factors than horror factors. Horror is more big scary monsters and terror is more about the mentality that a person faces while in a situation. You hear a sound, but there's nothing there, you see a shadow run in front of you, things like that psych you out and form terror in your mind.

To easily kill both Brutes you can run back through the door that you used to enter that long corridor. The Brutes will try to follow but they are too big to fit through the door. As they continue to charge the door you can just shoot them safely from the other room.
