@topalamariusflorin Thats certainly weird.. technically there shouldn't be any frame rate dips since your basically just watching a video.. (kinda) :|
try playing around with the options in fraps or look for alternatives.. there should be at last 1 or 2 open source programs that should be able to record video too, but I can't remember the names of those programs.. :/
What did you use to record that?

When I use Fraps I get low fps...
