  • You piss me off...know your shit

  • Any tips on breaking in a pocket on a modified trap? i find it very annoying

  • skrew the nokona its so gay!

  • please get a heart of the hide or pro preferred before you judge rawlings. gold glove series rawlings are usually for younger players or those with a smaller budget. not high quality or long lasting at all

  • NOKONA... LETS GO!!!!!!!!!

  • Ok, let's be honest. What he said in the video was slightly offensive to my race, and to other Asians or anyone of a different race. However, the fact that he says "American Made" is better, is really wrong. America hasn't produced and kept up with the growing economy in Asia. Better stuff is made outside of the United States. The smarter people of our world are outside of the United States, especially Asia. They are smarter. They have more discipline, and use their knowledge for the better.

  • Rawlings played 3 years of var city in highschool this is my last year playing never failed great glove

  • like most people said both great gloves.... Nokona is a great brand will get the job done is a prestigious minor league ball but one thing you never see pros use them but that isnt the point they have terrible but somewhat good leather it will start to sag in about 2 months or sooner due to heat..... Rawlings has a great production line form T-Ball to MLB personally I would go with rawlings is great for any player form 8 to 80 years old and they last for ever

  • @wildwolfcf MLB players are paid to use Rawlings

  • both great gloves at the end of the day you get what you pay for

  • those are 2 completely different price point. ones 200-250 and the rawlings is 89-100. next time get a heart of the hide and you would've gone with the rawlings. i love nokona but they just break down so fast

  • @cam21fr i did a review of nokona vs other pro line gloves on youtube. You are right they do break down fast.

  • this is like getting a brand new dodge charger and comparing it to a 1920 model t ford. you have one of the top of the line for nokona and a middle of the line for the rawlings. compare that nokona to a pro preferred or a A2K or A2000

  • good choice u will not be disappointed

  • Nokona are ok but they are so dry in side and uncomfortable for me

  • It doesn't really matter too much what the brand of glove is it matters which glove it is and the quality

  • both nice gloves but i would take that rawlings over the nokona

  • Nakonas are shitt.

  • Comment removed

  • gold gloves are trash why are you comparing these two they're not even close

  • He complements how heavy the glove is.....a glove is supposed to be light XD neck!!

  • Well the ovcoarse the 200$ nokOna is gonna be better than the 100$ rawlings dumb ass. Compare a Rawlings Primo and a NokOna Bloodline and get back to me.

  • i have the same exact nokona! their way better!

  • @BabyBadgerNutz Nice grammer dumb ass.

  • @lmirvine100 what a fucking retard! your the one that spelled grammar wrong! fucking dumb ass!

  • all you did was pick the glove based on where it was made. you provided no useful information about the materials, performance or otherwise.

  • NOKANA HAD THIS GLOVE FOR LIKE 2 YEARS NEVER FAILED ON IT

  • rawlings

  • Stupid comment gets 13 up votes? Stupid viewers.

  • How is that a racist statement? That's national pride, and I would suggest you at least consider it if you live stateside. I'll spare the politics, but BUY AMERICAN where possible.

    Good looking glove BTW.

  • my first glove for high school was a rawlings player preferred first base mitt. it lasted me freshman and sophomore ball, with summer and fall ball in between. it was $59. i upgraded to the nokona bloodline for jr year varsity ball. it broke during my first captains practice and the replacement lasted one season and one summer. it was $250. rawlings my friend. watch some baseball on tv and see what they wear..all rawlings and A2000s, a couple louisville sluggers. catchers wear allstar or A2000..

  • @Dunlas25

The reason pros don't use nokonas are because they're a small company that can't pay players to use them. I have two rawlings gold gloves (one 11.5 and one 12.5). They are fantastic gloves, but I like my nokona AMG1200 the most.

But it's really a "coke or pepsi" kind of thing. Everyone has a preference.

  • fyi. it is pronounced nok-oh-nuh not nok-aw-nuh. it is named after the town of Nocona, Texas, where they are made.

  • Nokonas the best glove you can have

  • nokona for shir

  • if you want a good glove get a pro preferred you idiot

  • I have used a Nokona Bloodline and I just recently purchase a Rawlings Pro Preferred. I loved my Nokona when I used it, however after awhile the leather around the pocket started to rip out from the laces. Keep in mind that I keep my gloves very tight for stiffness and this could be the cause. So far I have fallen in love with the rawlings. I am a middle infielder that is going into collegiate coaching after this year. I have tried on several different gloves and I like the rawlings better.

  • na-cone-uhh pronunciate

  • this guy is just an american who only likes his own country

  • dude.... your comparing a featherweight to a heavyweight..

  • This comparison is not even your comparing mercedes toma honda grab yourself a rawlings pro preffered or h.o.h or primo then make the compare again

  • That is what I was saying. I have an old Nokona and its pretty good. But that particular nokona to that particular Rawlings was not a fair fight

  • The fact that he got a gold glove from Rawlings and calls NokOna "nokana" shows that he has no idea what he is talking about and did zero research. He went to academy and picked two crappy gloves. Primo, pro preferred, and heart of the hide all destroy that glove.

  • @MrUSBMODZ nokona is not a crappy company all their gloves are hand crafted nokana is in the same area as a pro preferred and a nokana bloodline is in the same area as a primo but i can see where you are coming from comparing a gold glove vs a nokona is like comparing a heart of the hide to a crappy easton the primo and pro p are both great gloves and so is the nokona if you where to compare a nokana glove to a rawlings it should be compared to one of the gloves you mentioned

  • Nokona sucks, compare that shitty nokona of yours to a Rawlings heart of the hide, pro preferred, or primo glove. Then talk to me about comparison alright buddy.

  • you take a pro glove (rawlings) and a utility glove and the utility glove still wins.

  • this video's kinda racist, and fyi the best technology, products, or clothes etc etc etc, come from different countries. i understand your trying to be loyal and patriotic about this country because i love this country too but notice the stuff made in usa dont really last long like for example ford's cars, theyre american made. while cars like mercedes, nissan, hyundai get their parts from different countries such a japan germany . im not being racist because i was born here on american soil

  • @anthony11782 how is it racist?? im pretty sure american isnt a race. just cause he wants a glove thats made in america and not one that takes advantage of cheap outsourced labor, doesnt have anything to do with race. people need to think before they post stupid comments.

  • Wilson a2k hands down beats both of these junks

  • @drjoe2323 Well that was implied, he's comparing for a lesser second place glove.

  • dude nakOna gloves will become floppy in about a year also you did get a shit version of the rawlings if you really want a nice glove get a Wilson A2K or a Rawlings Primo

  • The nokona is only bettr in that case because u got a terrible version of a rawlings glove

Compare a pro perfered glove or even a heart of the hide glove to that nokona amd the nokona will suck in comparison

  • nokona gloves have heaver leather than rawlings and more durable i like the nokona blondie

  • That's true, I woke up and got to my DICK'S Sporting Good store and test all of them out and found out Nokona has better leather but I got a A2K, but it was hard

  • gold gloves are poop put a pro preferred next to that nakona... it will dump all over it.

  • Make sure manny pacquiao doesn't see this video lol

  • I wish i could like nokonas, but they are way too hit or miss for me. I've tried one, it was awful, ended up selling it. But i have had teammates with nicely broken in nokonas. I just stick with my mizuno classic pro's or heart of the hides for something thats nice everytime. Nokona, work on quality control.

  • Dude this isnt even a fair comparison. The Nokona is made to professional standards. The rawlings gold glove models are more of a little league/high school jv player type glove. This is one of the best series that Nokona makes with the exception of the bloodline. It's like comparing steak to a McDonalds hamburger. Not a fair comparison at all. I personally prefer Nokona, only con is that the leather gets too soft. Try a pro-preferred or heart of the hide rawlings.

  • Just ordered the exact same Nokona. I can't wait until it gets here!

  • have two nakonas - will never buy another brand again.

  • Wilson A2000 beats both

  • pro preffered been using mine for 3 years

  • Both low end gloves. He went to target or wal mart to buy these gloves then does a review? Idiot. He needs to compare a bloodline or pro preffered.

  • @joejabber your right they are on the lower end of gloves series but i wouldnt go as far to say they are from wal mart

  • why does everybody want a rawlings gold glove? i mean they do not last long i had mine for 1 season and by the end it was way to floppy and the i web had broke. i got a nokoa that was 250 and flared it a little bit and it has been with me for 2 seasons and it is broken in but stiff enough to feild a ground ball perfect. nokona is a lot better for your moneys worth and they have a lot better looking nokona gloves than this.

  • wtf is with the gold glove.. pro preferred all the wayyyyy

  • hey guys, i need a new glove and its between the rawlings heart of the hide and the a2000. any suggestions?? also tell me other good gloves in the $180-$220 ranges. tthanks

  • @badgerhockey99 A2000. totaly.

  • Anyone know where i can get a Rawlings gold glove elite GGE1150???!!!!!??????

  • nokona = best gloves made

  • @o0BEASTY0o ummmm put down that Doobie bro....

  • thats actually a low end nokona

  • that is one of the best nokona gloves compared with a so-so rawlings glove get a HOH or a pro preffered and it would be a better comparison

  • I swore by Nokona...until I got my Nike diamond pro elite.

  • i had a nokona it sucks i got mad and let my dog chew it up a day later i bought a rawlings glove for me and my son its way better than nokona

  • i have the same nokona..its horrible...i had it for 1 year...already has 3 rips in it..its flimsy as shit...go with the rawlings or the A2000 or A2K series...i oiled my nokona 1-2x every 2 weeks...trust me the glove is bad

  • 12 people chose the rawlings glove and regret their descision

  • i have a nokona bloodline it is very good and i am looking foward to more nokona gloves

  • This guys a dumbass first of all he says nokona wrong, he picks his glove based on where its made and he should of taken the Rawlings becuase Nokona is alot worse

  • 12 people don't use Rawlings or Nokona

  • get a Vinci...

  • Mizuno is the BEST!!!!!!!!

  • 1:43 was really races !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I rader spend my money on american glove lmfaooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo0

  • @PRKiidAnt To bad you didn't bother spending more money on your education. I don't think rader is a word and I also think the word you were looking for is Racist.

  • @PRKiidAnt he just wants to support american jobs... and btw its racist not races

  • @PRKiidAnt how is that racist american made baseball gloves have better craftsmen ship and better leather

  • @PRKiidAnt your retarted hows that racist? fuck tard do you want a glove made in zimbabwe were they dont even play baseball. Gosh your so stupid ima shit on you

  • @PRKiidAnt First of all its spelled racist, and second its actually not racist at all...He is obviously just expressing his nationalism and pride in his country. In buying American, he is helping our economy prosper, and that is the goal of every country. Other countries also share his motives and beliefs in wishing their own success, and they would do what they could to help their own national economies if they were in his place....oh, and rader isn't a word....

  • @HgOuTitar Wilsons are made in America too....The A200 is a better glove than any Nokona.

  • @lmirvine100 I never said anything bad about wilson, I have an A2000! Best glove I've ever owned. But just so you're clear they used to be made in America, not anymore

  • Nokona is way better than any glove out there it will definately outlast any other glove and its american made

  • pro preferred or primo beats any other glove, any day

  • @11blackopsbeast NO THE BEST GLOVE COMPANIES ARE , AKADEMA, NOKONA, SSK, ZETT, ALL OTHERS ARE BULSHIT .

  • @LagBoyMan Check out the Rawlings REVO. Just bought one and it is sweet. One piece inside. No lacing across the palm for an insane comfortable fit. $220 glove.

  • if u compare a nice rawlings like a pro preferred or a primo they beat any nokona in quality.

  • whats the price for nokona

  • @Mac10liquidemotions around 150 to 200 for an average one a really nice nokona is 300 to 400

  • Ok thank you very much

  • dont use oil to break it in...spit works fine...

  • the gold rawlings gloves are just gay looking

  • How much was the nokona

  • @xQuikScopzx First Nokonas are the best made glove. I bought a kangaroo leather baseball glove 20 years ago, and it looks and feels brand new. But dont get the AMGs. The BC and the Kangaroo leather are the best.

  • @interactivevideos10 Im sorry I meant the AMG is one of there best. I would not advise you to buy the Bloodline though

  • Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz well there's 2 minutes of my life I will never get back again!!! Why is it some people think that just because they have a video camera and YouTube exists that they are obligated for some reason to post mindless videos like this on YouTube?!?!?!? This video offers absolutely NOTHING except the fact that one glove is US made and the other is Philippine made. Keep this in mind; the US Navy felt the Philippines was good enough to have a naval base there for many many years!!!!

  • Nokona gloves are the best

  • Dude I love nokona gloves

  • y does it matter were it comes from !? look at the guality not the colour shouldve tested em on the field

  • NOKONA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Of course the Gold Glove sucks. Get the Primo or Pro Preferred. Atleast the Heart of the Hide

  • @italiandude2323 Yeah only certain Gold Gloves suck

  • Rawlings is way better. Rawlings Primo, Rawlings Pro Preferred, Rawlings Heart of the hide.

    Nokona only has the Bloodline

  • NOKONA

  • Rawlings is top of the line in every category , theres a reason why its the biggest supplier of baseball gloves in america... Heart of the Hide, Pro Preffered, Primo ... enough said

  • @Bigcalfmiller and that reason is because they pay top dollar for pros to wear them, not because they're the best glove maker. They were a long time ago though, but nowadays, they're putting out mediocre gloves. You don't really get what you pay for when you buy Rawlings.

  • i personally believe nokona, because its AMERICAN!!!!made with REAL animal hide i have the nokona fenix series and its buffalo hide, with a leather hide pocket. but just in my oppinion i like nokona and yes they are rather expensive mine was 350.00$ but its well worth it for a long lasting dependable mitt.

  • i bought a nokona bloodline...6 months later i bought a rawlings pro preferred

  • @ShredShow94 lol i bought a rawlings pro preferred... 6 months later i bought a nokona bloodline

  • lol ppl saying nokona are shit prob never owned one or cant afford one ! lol the mrweeman dude i play pro baseball for the ft cats and eveyone one our team uses nokona or mizuno. and MLB players use all dif types of gloves ! if you want to see real baseball buy a ticket for out game may 9th ft cats vs Lincoln

    Saltdogs Ft worth texas !

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

  • @MRT9390 lol you probably play bench.. if u even do play for the ft cats

  • I'm trying to choose between a Nokona bloodline and a Rawlings Heart of the Hide. I've always been a Rawlings guy, but I hear great things about Nokona.

  • @NathanielFaunce Heart of the hide for sure dont even waaste ur money on nokona

  • @MrWeeman43 dude you dont know anything about baseball or never owned a nokona if your saying that !! I own this glove and the new bloonline and love it ! nokona and mizuno are one of the best gloves to buy. the nokona would last you twice as long as the Rawlings ! 3rd baseman Ft Worth Cats

  • @MRT9390 first of all all of the pros use rawlings gloves and name me three people that use nokana gloves and i brought nothing up about mizuno at all i happen to own a mizuno and i love but i prefer rawlings becuase it is a all around better glove end of story so get shit on

  • What, you don't like Filipino people or something?!?!

  • Nokona Rules!!!!

  • i have they gold glove elite ....... way better nokana sucks big balls

  • look how he throws rawlings down like it a piece of crap but the nokona he sets it down like its a baby RAWLINGS ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and rawlings has raw in it

  • you dont want a heavy glove if ur an infeilder bcus u wanna be able to get to ur throwing stance after u field the ball so i would have to go with the rawling on this 1 bcus i do have a nokona and i dont like it that much but good vid

  • Just got nokona amg 1200 and it's I'll best glove all American hell yeah

  • is the louisville slugger omaha gloves any good??

  • @Nickfoxrider24 nope

  • nokona kicks ass to the gold glove elite. but the wilson a2k and a2000 are better

  • fresh out the city can't even write proper grammar, don't hate until you own one then you can give your opinion. But I highly doubt you own an American glove. Let alone afford one. You most likely use a rawlings gold glove that your mommy gave you for your 12th birthday. Grow up learn to write and speak only on subjects your intellectual capacity can handle.

  • @freshoutthecity415 Wow that is the words you have two use you will probaly never afford the rawlings pro preferred or the rawlings primo......I am either getting the pro preferred or the primo for my birthday and im paying with my own money

  • Which glove is better the rawlings pro preferred or the nokona in this video i am thinking of getting the rawlings pro preferred.......i want a light glove.which glove is lighter out of the two

  • compare it to a pro perferred

  • I have the rawlings glove and its really good, but its not as high quality as the Nokona. you should have compared it to the pro prefferd or HOH.

  • yep I might be from the uk, but knowing you guys can buy an all american product is important culturally and economically to your country. Here in old blighty (england) that's a rare thing now days, most products are either foreign owned or manufactured abroad, problem is it strips your country of craftsmanship and succesfull innovation and ideas are always financially best kept within your borders not outside. Both gloves look great but I'd know where my foreign money would go.

  • Professional Players who use Nokona products:

Nokona Athletic Goods Company is the only major glove maker producing all of its gloves and mitts in the United States. To compete with cheap labor imports, they do not secure endorsements by professional ball players, although pro's do use them. Instead Nokona prefers to put the money into thier gloves, where you want it!

  • who cares what the pro's use. If the pro's use a hockey glove are you gonna jump on the band wagon? You probly would..its all marketing the pro's are thinking whats best for my wallet.ex. with Jordan's some will say its the best shoe out there... But is it??? Nokona sponsors an entire baseball organization for our youth in the states. what does rawlings do???? take your money back to the Philippines. And by Jeter a benz.

  • Ya i agree. I had a nokona and it got really flimsy but it was still a great glove. I love it still. Just got a pro preferred yesterday tho. Cant wait to use it

  • the only thing i hate about my nokona is afetr like 2 years of use its to flimsy unlike my freinds rawlings he had for 3-4 years its still hard and tightened

  • @dnjrosa what pros use nokona? just wondering cause i haven't seen any

  • All Rawlings are made in the Philippines main office Washington. I sell the gloves. Out sourcing. My personal glove is Nokona, MLB players are paid to use the glove, Our military teams use NOKONA!!!!keep our money and jobs here.

  • henrykrinklebickle, ur just saying that because u most likely suck

  • the only bad thing about the nokona is a gets really soft when u break it in

  • The only reason the pros use the rawlings is because they get paid to use those pieces of shit.

  • 31 yrs ago the glove werent that good so you just buying another 31 look alike nokona crap

  • i would pick rawlings cuzz no body ever uses that nikona peace of shiiiittt in the mlb

  • Comment removed

  • nokonas the best and rawlings suck

  • y would go nokona over rawlings idiot

  • dude u did a nokona pro line series if it would have been a fair fight u should have picked a heart of the hide not a gold glove series thts a 12 yr olds dream

  • ur a fuckin goober ur like 40 u dont kno anything about gloves rawlings is way better

  • @MegaBaseball29 not always i had a rawlings woven pocket and halfway through my season will fielding a hot grounder the webbing broke

  • Whered you get the rawlingss i want!! did you get from rawlings.com?

  • it is nokona not nokana!!! hahaha.. but good review, i have the bloodline nokona and it is a great glove!

  • it is nokona not nokana!!!

  • hey what kind of nokona is that

  • No glove is made in the Philippines, That's where the Leather comes from. It should be noted on the glove "Product of the Philippines". The low-end Cheaper Rawlings gloves are made in China. The expensive Gloves are made in Washington, MO.

  • nokona!

  • stfu guys on this dudes choice, its his opinion so back off his dick....i would have chose nokona too, plus there bloodline series are there best gloves, NOT THIS ONE!!!!!

  • how can u compare the best Nokona glove to a not really good Rawlings

  • That being said - Nokona's a nice glove :-)

  • Made in China, made in Taiwan, made in Pakistan - I agree. However, you should do some research on wwii and learn some history between the US and the Philippines before you say you'd rather spend your $ on "US made" goods.

  • nokona is much more expensive he needs to compare it to the heart of the hide

  • I have a a2000 and a nokona bloodline and I love them both I think the nokona bloodline is handcrafted with more precision and quality the rawlings gloves. And the primo Is way over priced with the leather and performance it has the pro preferred is a better glove with lighter leather but also better leather but the nokona gloves are all way better than Rawlings

  • i have bought a nokona a few weeks ago but the rawlings is a better glove i think.

this is last nokona that i ever bought

  • baseball4life337 amen I just got a Wilson a2k dw5 and it's a hoss!

  • how is nokona never used it before?

  • Gotta go with Nokona.....AMERICAN MADE and a great glove!!
