I like it a lot! Its a great fabrication project

I wonder what it cost to build this.

I say this because you can find used mini hoes on Assetline online auction, or RB, ive seen small grey market hoes sell for $5-8K routinely, I mean after all this welding work is it worth it, I dont know.

For myself I would probably buy a little Japanese hoe and weld my own hydraulic thumb. buckets and quick-change saddle up on my own dimee and then now youre rocking

but I built the excavator as a personal achievement.

buy a used Backo can return to the same price but 2 times smaller.

but to save more I could buy the hydraulics used.

and the second version take me 2 week about 30 to 40 hours

Thats pretty cool! May I suggest gusseting where the boom cylinder meets the boom, the first bend, where it is welded. Thats a high stress area..

hydraulic system whit motor is new. I pay 4000 $ just for hydraulic whit motor system ^^
