Awesome!!! Even though there was a saying about Tosin "Just because you have an eight-string and play in a metal band doesn't mean you have to sound like Meshuggah." Refering ofcourse to the awesomeness and power that Tosin holds over this instrument.

@BombsForChristmas ive heard some meshuggah and theyre not really popping djent to me, the brighter crisper ninth chords that he uses are much different than the 1 song 1 polyrythm that meshuggah does, not a big fan of them

well he would probably take offense. but i would say it's more of a retaliation. he wouldn't shake my hand at the aal show. everyone else in the band did. lol. but really, that guy is like the most badass guitarist ever.

tosin abasi is not the guitarist of born of osiris. he only filled in to be their rhythm guitar player. i saw that show. i also recently saw tosin play in his band, Animals as Leaders, and it was a sick show!! hes a great innovative guitar player.

hes was a really nice guy when I met him at jaxx 9/26 when my band did local support, we gave him a ride to the metro and smoked pep spice with him, he gave feedback about our demo and was giving advice to us. I got him to sign my copy of animals as leaders too of course:]
