do you have a check engine light? If you pull fuse # 11 it resets the "learned driving" and might actually help you out.

haven't tried fuse 11 yet. hopefully it works but thats only adaptive driving right? my car feels like it's being powered by an unresponsive V6 right now. can't even squeal the tires from a dead stop

Yes, it resets the adaptive driving... a lot of people on the 300 forums say that it really helps...I think you're supposed to leave it unplugged for 10-15 minutes before you put it back in. You have nothing to lose... let me know how it goes.

I add more regularly about every 1,200 miles and change it every 4,000. It does relatively good with oil I think. As a matter of fact, I'm do for a changing now.

believe it or not, your 300c has less than 300hp at the crank. i just dynoed my stock 300c before i did some shit and i only came up with 289 horsepower and 343 torque at the crank. so yours is proly like 320 horsepower 360 torque at the most.

horsepower means nothing with these types of motors...it's the torque they put out. with the little bolt ons you have, you lowered your peak torque point, which in turn makes a little more power off the line. let me explain better. when your driving your car, and you have the ac on, and the alternator is working correctly, and the power steering pump is on...all of those components are robbing your peak horsepower/torque. the factory will always overestimate. dynoes give you crank horsepower....

The 5.7 is good for 140MPH+ and the 6.1 is good for 175MPH.

The M5 comes with 507bhp and the srt8 comes with 426hp, check out the vids. 300c is a 6.1 and the m5 a 5L but the M3 was much quicker. 300c is cool and I am planning to get one to help promote my busniess because it catchs the eyes...lot of BMW's in london!
