whats with all the hate? its a downloadable spinoff multiplayer game. it isnt supposed to be anything ridiculously new and special. its not like you would be paying 60 bucks for it anyway.

@kirielvids Yeah, but it's not the only downloadable spinoff multiplayer game in existence; it has to content with ones like Battlefield 1943.

For me, however, the main issue is that it's using the Batman license. I just don't feel like this game will be worthy of it. I feel like they're just going to make another unoriginal, generic shooter, and use the Batman license to try to boost sales (because there are many gullible fans who will buy anything with 'Batman' in the title).

@catholicgamer99 It's like remaking Onslaught, but completely changing the enemies, story, and weapons, then putting "Zelda" in the title.

I can forgive the Mario sports games spinoff, because they actually resemble their full adventure counterparts somewhat, due to the power-ups, and feel nothing like regular sports games. Gotham City Impostors just looks like a normal FPS, and with Batman & Joker costumes, and the weapons LOOK different. I just find it baffling that they would ever make this.

@Bobbysayhi No, I have seen it, and I wasn't impressed at all. The trailer was extremely cheesy, and based on the footage shown in the trailer, I bet the game will be exactly like every other modern FPS on the market, except with characters dressed up as the Batman & the Joker.

If you looked at the trailer closely you would see the different weapons and very clear different game play than games like Black Ops which is a straight forward shooter. This game if similar to anything would be Brink and Team Fortress 2 combined with some cool Batman and Joker weapons. To me that sounds a lot different than Black Ops.

@Bobbysayhi Apart from the grapple hook and tongue-in-cheek style, this looks like a pretty straightforward shooter to me. There's obviously no way of knowing for sure until the game comes out, and I play it for myself, but I'm not very excited at all...yet.

@catholicgamer99 It feels as if one member of WB Games noticed all the generic shooters flooding the market, then, during a meeting, said, "Hey guys, have any of you noticed that about half of the games on the market appear to be team-based multiplayer shooters? How about we find a dev to make a downloadable one for us, but with one team dressed up as Batman, and the other dressed up as Joker?" Then everyone else at the table was like, "That's brilliant! Tons of Batman fans will download it!"

@catholicgamer99 theres a lot of shit in this game and its definitly not a generic shooter. play the beta and you'll see theres no other game on the market like it, theres tons of weird perks, weapons, and a ton gadgets and shit its pretty fun
