  • foxy boxy ;) but good for the money

  • Good review:-) Cool guy too:-)

  • go go power rangers!

  • That is a really cool little amp!

If you know a little of electronics/electricity, you could modify it to use sealed 12v batteries (usually used for high-power flashlights and old VHS videocameras), instead of a bunch of C batteries.

The cool thing about sealed batteries is that they're rechargable, they can work well for years, and depending on how many current this amp uses, it can last for a really long time without recharging.

  • Power rangers

  • POWER RANGERS!

  • was it from power rangers?

  • Hay dude can you talk quieter we cant hear the amp.

  • OMG I wached this again lol

CRUNCH 2 hahahahahahaha zakk your out of a job mate lmao

  • No BIG BUZZ wow yea we wouldent want that would we, I mean what if we had feedback at 5 friggin watts man/??? And the battery life? Yea lasts for ages and ages. from 1.5 watts to 5 watts they made sure ther is no frigging power to drain them batts. Oh and no frigging Bass eather to use them batteries up. So its all good, you can listen to this shit sound for frigging ever. Ore untill some poor soul says ,,, Turn that shit off you c,,,,,,,,t

  • @spartanworria you dont buy this amp for good sound why would you? there are obviously better on the market for the same price.... but it's very portable, you can easily put it in a backpack and take it everywhere you want, maybe to a friend, in the park, outside on your veranda, just to give you some options :) it can be used with batteries, so u dont need a socket outlet to play with it, thats IMO the reason to take it in consideration to buy it, it`s why i bought it. greetz mate

  • @IOneNightJamI Which ones r better 4 the same price?

  • @MrJohnnyDistortion its possible to make this amp well-sounding, but its hard, although im sometimes surprised how i like his sound. there are otherones like fender frontman, the korg mikrocube and maybe even the marshall mg15r which may have a better sound... i would test amps and guitars before buying them, the ones i listed are worth a try and cost the same as the vox. lke i said, they arent as portable as the vox.

  • just bought one I like the amp and for a vox its pretty good

  • i have one, very nice !! :D

  • how is the battery life on this amp? The roland micro cube is said to last about 20 hours on six AA batteries.

  • @gmlasam dude ive been pullin this out on lunch breaks for like 4 weeks for like 15 minutes a piece plus alot on the weekend and no sign of it dying

  • Next time I wanna sound "awesome" I'm definitely gonna get one of these amps!!!!!!

  • dont leave the batteries in there if u move, it messed mine up

  • don`t talk so much... simply play!!!!! it`s boring.

  • Informative, useful review. Just what a product review should be.

  • WHOA!!!! That sounds awesome! what guitar did you use in this video?

  • POWER RANGER!!!

  • You've played theme from Mighty Morphing Power Rangers ! Love this show, that's how the reviews should be done :)

  • Excellent job on the review! I wish all gear reviews were done this well. Hey, nice playing too! Have you had a chance to compare this to the Roland Micro Cube? You mentioned it's not very loud, do you find the speaker distorts at all (at lower frequencies especially)? The Micro Cube tends to 'fart' at lower frequencies. Thanks!

  • This Amp Has Done Me Well

    But My Learning Is Improving

So Im Gonna Upgrade This Summer!

And This Is A Very Good Review For This Amp!!

  • This amp is great for playing the street and it does get pretty loud. I usually set it at .5 watt and it's loud enough for playing on the street. Instead of using C batteries I bought Ultra Last C shells and use AA rechargeable batteries and I get several hours at the .5 watt setting. I plug in a microphone and sing, and I have connected a CD player to it as well.

  • if you select something with much gain and select the phaser you can make a cool effect: when you hold the tap down and move the edit1 button full to the left.

and then play things on the low strings. that is cool you should try it!

  • I have just ordered the da15, secondhand. Now I am looking foward to it even more. Espesially for £35.

    :-D

  • what color is this? because the red amps dont have crome on them but your amp does and it looks red, is the light making it look red or something lol i just wanna know what color it is becasue i wanted a red one with crome on it lol

  • Ha. Yeah, it's red all right! Hm. Weird. I just checked and you're right! They might not make them like this anymore. :/ Sorry. Ew. I don't like the red one with the black guard.

  • nice review but u ddnt mension the money man

  • Great Review, Thanks!

  • can you plug an external effect into the aux input?

  • Hm. Good question. I want to say no because the aux input doesn't modify the sound in the amp. It's just there to play along with a song. Sorry, I don't have an external effect I could try this with. If you're talking about a guitar pedal, then no because the guitar needs to pass through the pedal.

  • One of the best reviews of this product. 5*

  • oh and I like the Skwisgar accent you did there too

  • Its the riff from the original Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers theme.

  • very helpful thanks a lot !

  • XOA strap....How about VOX? LOL! Great review!

  • I finally found a good quality (non-hungarian) review showing exactly what this amp is like and what features are on it! Awesome review, great job man!

  • what does btw meen ?

  • @zerimoo

    means "by the way"

  • by the way

  • Hey man nice review! BTW is the amp kinda loud? Not much? Thank you!

  • Was that a Dream Theater riff I heard in there...nice one!

Brilliant review, dead honest, well presented.

I need a new amp for busking and you have convinced me.

  • an't you use batteries???

  • is that a pink or red amp?????

  • Go go Power Rangers! Mighty Morhpin' Power Rangarrs!

  • dude, you got a thumbs down for this comment, but you're right, its the mighty morphin power rangers theme.

  • is it tube amp?

  • no it isn´t, all digital ;)

  • Great work!

"This is the best amp review I've seen on YT" (by bussela)

    I have a VOX DA20, classic one......GOD!

(My favourite channel is a Clean2, and half Gain, the sounds like an AC Amps, I think)

  • This is the best amp review I've seen on YT by far! Thank You for that!

  • i always wondered how that edit knob worked, as i've never tried one, just saw pictures. good review kid. thanks

  • The open back part is for something called "Open Sound" it sounds just a bit different. Just a minor preference thing. Great amp, good review and keep on playing brajta

  • of course its quite, its only 5 watts, get a vox ad30vt,

    =)

  • @etomas6

the ad30vt isnt even twice as loud.

    its only 30 watts.

  • good review, but why no blues?

  • Nice power rangers man!

  • I want buy it

  • what pedal u have??

  • none =] great thing about that amp

  • built in sounds

  • good for punk?

  • so the da10 is like a really good amp?

    cause its loud and sht?

    ??????

  • Well, I have the DA5 not the DA10. But the DA10 isn't that loud. It's only 10 watts. That's not that loud.

  • but its louder...:p

  • Well, yeah, I guess. I wouldn't recommend it if you plan to play in a band though.

  • why?

  • Lol.... your super awesome metal riff with the Skwissgaar accent was Power Rangers =p

  • I Have The Black One

But Dang Thats A Pretty Red One

    I WANT IT :)

  • They even come in camouflage design ;-)

  • best review! thanks!! make more! so much info!

  • wow i think that beats micro cube. i have the cube

  • the super metal riff is from power rangers

  • Very good review.

  • 3:13 = POWER RANGERS!

  • Awsome amp. My son and I use it for sidewalk buskin. Battery life is LONG. It's about $130US. Road worthy - can take a beating. Think twice on buying the Classic version. Looks great - but it doesn't have the protective metal grid. If you're not throwing it in the trunk of your car, the Classic is okay. Otherwise, get the black. Effects & amp presets are killer. Very versitile. If you can't find a sound that fits your style on this amp, you shoulda spent your money on guitar lessons.

  • i read this review on some website. did u cut and paste

  • JimiTuber or me?

  • tuber. anyway, its a great video review. i really need it.

one thing was about the Hi gain 1, 2 ,3 i dont really feel the difference of the distortions. was it more obvious if i were there?

did you record it over mic or the line out to ur pc?

thanks ! (i love ur power rangers riff)

  • The 3 high gains sound different. I only used high gain 1 in my video. In person, I'm sure you'll be able to tell the difference.

I recorded this through the mic in the camera. If you want to hear the distortion through the line in, check out the video where I play the Metal Gear Theme.

  • aha i'll check that out. you'r really helping me out . appreciate that

  • Nope. We really do own it. If you think you read it elsewhere, it's probably because people like the same things about it that I do.

  • Finally a normal review about DA5 It was very useful! Thanks

  • thanks for the review...GO GO Power Rangers! lol
