After playing Chocobo Dungeon 2 on PSX i decided to buy this game. After I bought it, I was hugely disappointed. So much elements that I loved in chocobo dungeon 2 that I was expecting to be carried into this game was gone. Though few good new things are added, i felt the game wasn't as good as Chocobo Dungeon 2. (Playing Chocobo Dungeon 2 on psx atm, while the disc for fable is covered in dusts.)

Just a personal opinion.

Yes, there's a lot of action. I played CD2 and it gave me dozens of really good fun. This game is should be even more emotional because authors have decreased the turn-base of the game.

I'm going to say that the current audience is being aimed more toward children as the market that grew up playing final fantasy, for the most part, is becoming more and more uninterested in the games as they become older, so now they are trying to start new and get a younger audience hooked to provided a larger ammount of sales. But I'm sure its fine for some of the older audience to buy this to.

I bought it and loved it. Some scenes are just so little-kiddy it's hilarious. The moogle in the game is just the best. And despite the childishness of it at point it have a deep plot line that unfolds as you play. In other words, it's awesome. You should totally buy it.

Accually I have this game it SUCKED if it wasn't turned based and had real-time action then it would be better, I don't mind if it's not bloody, but come on, enemies that move if you move?!!? It's completely following the epic failure of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon. I would probably rate it 2 of 10 because even though the story line and graphics were good the NPC's were completely messed up and it had lame game play....

in that you are right, but it's just that i've followed the wii since the beginning - hoping that it would get some cool games - but it was just one let down after another. When i think about the SNES days, the wii's selection is way off. PS2 is kinda the modern day SNES in terms of games, so i like that best. The wii continiues to dissapoint. Wii music?! come on man!

you shouldn't take into account the game being childish or cartoony. the mystery dungeon series is really great, and they're all outstanding dungeon crawlers, regardless of the game's theme (pokemon mystery dungeon, chocobo's mystery dungeon, etc) or 'childish' art style. i for one think the cutesy art is, well, cute, and i like the game all the better for it.

yeah, it is a cool feature. whenever u equip an item, it actually shows up on ur little dude. also, u get full outfits with most jobs, like warrior, mage, etc.

FFVII is easy if you breed & feed your chocobo's well. Hold down R1, R2, L1 and L2 throughout the race for your chocobo to go marginally faster and restore stamina throughout the race.
