yeah i guess..looking at your profile list of bands you like the same kinda stuff as me..'the brian jonestown massacre'now thats one 'modern band'that carry the mantle of spacemen3 and others...
Jason later complained that Pete always talked for the group and that the rest of the band never had a chance to express their opinions. I really don't understand this. Jason can't blame Pete for being more articulate and talkative during interviews.
Yeah, It's funny that he said that since he just stays quiet in most all thier interviews. I've seen some where Pete is looking to Jason for input or to give him a chance to have a say and Jason says maybe a sentence and becomes dead silent again.
@jeebsg23 Yeah, that Transmission interview is like that. I love the interview, but it's true that there's only one thing Jason says and I can never quite catch what he's saying. It's a bit like the McCabe/Ashcroft interview. Guess who does the talking there. ^^
@FinalProgram I agree. He never said anything bad about the group anyway. Jason sometimes makes him appear like some kind of egocentric bastard. It's true that Pete does have some kind of ego, but not as extreme as Jason made it look. Or still does, I dunno, I think it's kind of calmed down now, even though Jason still seems... pretty quiet when it comes to that topic. ^^ "No, I still haven't mellowed about him..." Hello...
This band and the scene it came from would eat MTV clones alive ! Pretty funny that some would take the time to criticize true art though. Maybe some fashion-slaves just aren't satisfied unless it's Justin Timberlake, or Brittney Spears. Or better yet, how about fake mass-produced plastic gangster-rap fad-riders, whom live in all white neighborhoods. Nice, isn't it.
dope smokin layabouts "YOU FUCK" you no nothing about this band their body of work together and individualy is not only extensive but the vast majority is awe inspiring. go back to listening something more intune with your ignorance. YOU FUCKIN ARSEHOLE.
Is that a scottish Michael Ivins from The Flaming Lips?
