Just completed all Raidens and all Snakes, except the tuxedo and mgs1, thanks for the vid, helped me a lot in some missions.

The most difficult part for me was defending Meryl in Snake's variety mission.

ANother question how is he killing the Well protected armor suit enemies on Mgs2 (mgs1 snake) on Elimination 08 I see he is killing guards with a punch to the neck -.- ok how in gods name do you do that as well I swear even the crotch punch is hard enough how the hell do you do the punch to the neck kill? Ive tried like 10 times or more and im getting nowhere god Ive only got like these 3 eliminations and the last 10 holdups to gain the achievement >.< I try my own way but nearly run out of time

@BioSkell you have to aim for this really specific spot on their armor that isnt covered. its hard to see but it can be done

curious though on this how do you make a grenade explode on impact its driveing me nuts hes done it a few times how do I do it ive tried looking it up >.< dont say hold it for a long time doesnt work held it for like 20 seconds and didnt still go off even when I threw it took like 5 seconds to explode hell just tried it again even this second and still doesnt explose after 20 seconds in my hand or when I throw it after the 20 secs so how in gods name do you do it o.o

Ok on some of this he has made Throwing Grenades explode on impact how the hell do you do that DX Im playing this on Xbox and Im on the last bits to get the achievment >.< So how do I make throwing grenades explode on impact Ive tried holding onto them for longer but that doesnt do it serious held one for like 20 seconds and didnt explode in my hand so can anyone help please

on hold up (Snake (MGS1) will aim your M4 without firing.

it doesnt work. i tried numorous combos with both sticks.

none of it works. so dont waste your time guys.

unless what you MEANT was hold the left analog stick in and then press square once and it wont shoot. l didnt try that. you just said the left analog stick and it wont shoot. l will try this way and see if thats what you mean. hold in the left analog stick and press square once to holdup without shooting

As for the ammo, the more ammo you have at the end of a mission the more points you get.

@flankspankrank If you mean holding up with like M4 and AK just push your left analog in and you should hold up without shooting just dont press it twice not sure if you will shoot if you press it a second time or you just put it away cant remember >.<

I'm wondering who that Japanese player is, because all those nutshots and perfect moves...holy f'n shit that's crazy. And he's a perfect sniper on MGS1 Snake Variety 1...I can barely manage 12 kills before the box is swarmed. Never seems to miss a shot but they always avoid mine (even trying to lead the shots don't work).

@ManiacXxX95 I wouldn't doubt it, especially finding some of those methods. Hell one of them he throws three magazines in the EXACT right places and finishes the level in less than 10 seconds...I had to take the long way about finishing that one too (it was Sneaking level 10).

you unlock Characters by completing other charaters VR missions. so say your just beginning. and your playing as Raiden. to unlock the next one. which is Raiden (Ninja) you have to complete all Raiden's VR missions. then to unlock the next one. complete all ninja Raiden's VR missions.

Just beat all the VR/alternate missions.

You unlock the characters over time as you get to a certain percentage of missions done.
