The slight tempo change certainly livens it up, it wouldn't be my preference but its played beautifully. Portrays the grandeur of Treno in sound as opposed to the city itself. 5*

I never understood why it was chosen for the piano collections arrangement to reflect a ragtime sort of feel. The original sheet for this arrangement also had explicitly "Ragtime feel, not fast"
