  • as many said, this is beautiful. the nature of the song takes me strongly back to Fitzcarraldo´s music (the werner herzog´s film). take a look!

  • Been to a concert of Joey Baron yesterday, absolutely loved it. He's one of the best drummers in this world man, he's insane.

  • I will never get tired of this, these two musicians are insanely musical

  • i like the reese witherspoon version better.

  • @4578a -

how could a comment like this go unnoticed?!?!

    GREATNESS!!! (mostly the music though...)

  • I was kinda half kidding but i do love her version.

  • This is so beautiful!

  • Oh man, this is what it's all about for me.

  • Sorry, I just don't appreciate what they've done to this song. Too many effects, too much pedal tone & hey, where's the "meat"? I'm not trying to pass judgement on these musicians but simply saying that it's not for me...

  • The "meat" in this Chocolate Grand Marnier Mousse begins at 2:05.

  • @thefalang: That's a fair criticism. That said, I dig these two enormously (just perhaps not so much this clip which is a little wandering)

  • vi lasciavano registrare? o c'hai provato?

  • rocken god I miss seeing this its been almost 3 years

  • I love this.

  • figo ragazzi vedette un po il cuarteto impromuzak sul you tubo

  • Gone, Just Like A Train, es uno de los mejores trabajos de Bill, sin embargo Jim Keltner esta en la bateria.

  • Baron's playing, especially cymbal work, on Frisell's "Where in the World?" album is absolutely incredible.

  • does anybody know what kind of pedals/effects bill is using

  • Sounds like the only effect he's using is a long delay pedal with some kind of hold/infinite repeat button. Maybe an Electro-Harmonix 16-sec. delay or one of the Digitech PDS delays.

  • Joey is a breath of fresh air....thanks for posting

  • Man I love these guys so much. Thanks for the post

  • Joey Baron on percussion. Thanks Bill for introducing me to this remarkable drummer at your last show!!!!

  • Then clearly you should be listening to those 10 year old pickers and leave the adults enjoying this stuff alone.

    Damn kids. Always underfoot.

  • works for me....keep on enjoying...

  • you're right, I've never heard him play this on electric before - really good, thanks

  • I believe this is called wildwood flower which is an old traditional bluegrass tune he covered back on ghost town

  • No it pre-blue grass. A better term is old time
