Sorry, I just don't appreciate what they've done to this song. Too many effects, too much pedal tone & hey, where's the "meat"? I'm not trying to pass judgement on these musicians but simply saying that it's not for me...

Sounds like the only effect he's using is a long delay pedal with some kind of hold/infinite repeat button. Maybe an Electro-Harmonix 16-sec. delay or one of the Digitech PDS delays.
as many said, this is beautiful. the nature of the song takes me strongly back to Fitzcarraldo´s music (the werner herzog´s film). take a look!

Been to a concert of Joey Baron yesterday, absolutely loved it. He's one of the best drummers in this world man, he's insane.

The "meat" in this Chocolate Grand Marnier Mousse begins at 2:05.

@thefalang: That's a fair criticism. That said, I dig these two enormously (just perhaps not so much this clip which is a little wandering)

Gone, Just Like A Train, es uno de los mejores trabajos de Bill, sin embargo Jim Keltner esta en la bateria.

Baron's playing, especially cymbal work, on Frisell's "Where in the World?" album is absolutely incredible.

Then clearly you should be listening to those 10 year old pickers and leave the adults enjoying this stuff alone.
Damn kids. Always underfoot.
