But read Ex-Atheist Lee Strobel's book "The Case For Christ" and "Evidence That Demands a Verdict" by Josh McDowell. Both are full of evidence for God. I really hope you take the time to read one of them. Even if you choose not the believe in God, you should know what evidence you are disregarding if you do. Blessings!

God loves you more than you can possibly fanthom! He hates sin with a hatred as strong as death, but He loves the sinner with a love that is stronger than death! He condemns the sin but convicts the sinner. Why does God comnemn sin? Because it produces the chain of event that ultimately hurts us- the object of His affection!

God did make a perfect humanity when He was creating the World.
One of them is in the book of Hosea where god kills the entire village including the unborn babies (according to the bible abortions are compulsory if your not a christian), just because they didn't worship god.

The difference is the picture of God one holds. I understand that it is not God who kills, but the sin. For it is written- the wages of SIN is death. God can only warn us what this or the other action will do to us. We reap the consequences of our daily choices and it wouldn't be wise to blame God for that.

I fell in love with this at a Baptist Good friday service this year. I am a Southern Baptist Jew, so thus Passover was the same week as Good Friday and thus I decided to go to the service to fellowship and worship with my brothers and sisters in Christ. Folks, study Bible from a Hebrew perspective and you will understand just how much God does love us AND why things happen in the world. Hint: Satan is Lord of the earth, he was cast out of heaven along with a third of the angels. So between him being lord until Jesus comes back and our own sinful choices that prevent our blessings, we will have trials and tribulation on this earth until the kingdom of God is restored.
a couple days ago i was talking with someone about life, the trials and the tribulations and he asked me why i wasnt worried and why i continue on with the severity of my disabilities, and i said... I believe in god and his jaw dropped and he said that he never pegged me as a believer in god and i said yeah i also believe in christ, i think he couldnt understand why i believed even though the suffering i endure everyday.... being i was disabled before i was an adult and endured 15 years of pain.

@gdsm93 Idk if you have kids or not, but its like when your kid does something wrong that really ticks you off. you might hate what they did but you still love your kid (i hope so at least haha) and yes is is logical to fix the sin, which is exactly what Christ can do for you. Granted, we can never fully be rid of our sin til we join Him, but through the processs of sanctification, we can slowly begin to overcome the temptation of sin in our life. And i have seen that work and experienced it.

If someone is God's child, they will be with Him in heaven, so God still never leaves His children. Not everyone is a child of God; only those who trust what He says aka believes in Him. @MegaIfonly When God flooded the earth (the ark story) He wiped out evil men and only one man was pleasing to God, Noah. And Noah and his family were saved from the flood. I don't believe God wanted to destroy mankind, but the Bible says that evil mankind broke His heart so much that He was sorry He made the human race! So, why are we humans still here then?! God's love, that's why. The ark story is in Genesis 6.

I may be talking to a brick wall here but I want to tell you suffering is a consequence of sin. If God always prevented people from sinning, or always prevented the consequences of sin, then human goodness would be mere programming, not true goodness. Suffering is not caused by God, but by the sin of persons with moral responsibility.

This song is awe inspiring. it is so true how it talks about an all loving, all knowing, and powerful God who made humanity perfect. but the sinful nature of the devil wrenched us away, and now most of the people blame it on God, when first it was Satan tempting us, and humanity giving in. A perfect God gave man a choice whether to live with him in harmony, or to take the path of the world and fall. and now we have these fools running around telling the world there is no God. That is false. :)

He condemns the sin but convicts the sinner. Why does God comnemn sin? Because it produces the chain of event that ultimately hurts us- the object of His affection!

@Malyshikarlson After reading in the bible Deuteronomy 22: 28-29, it says that is you get raped then you must marry your rapist, i don't think me and the non-existant god have the same subjective morality. If there is a god and he loves us so much then why doesn't he show himself? Everybody would believe in him. Nobody would sin. Why doesn't the bible bring us in awe after reading it? Why is there so much death in the bible? An all-loving, knowing and powerful god would of made humanity perfect.

If we take the culture in the book of Deutor. it would be a shame for a girl if a man had ran away after having forced himself on her. So it tells he must marry her. You ask why God doesn't show himself? Well, he did. In the person of Jesus Christ. Unfortunately even then people continued sinning, and not everyboy believed in Him. God did make a perfect humanity when He was creating the World.

One of them is in the book of Hosea where god kills the entire village including the unborn babies (according to the bible abortions are compulsory if your not a christian), just because they didn't worship god.

The difference is the picture of God one holds. I understand that it is not God who kills, but the sin. For it is written- the wages of SIN is death. God can only warn us what this or the other action will do to us. We reap the consequences of our daily choices and it wouldn't be wise to blame God for that.

But it is definitely possible to give evidence to prove the existance of something, and there never has been any evidence. By christian/muslim logic, they should believe in unicorns and other magical things as well since they were never disproven. But we know unicorns don't exist because it is absurd and includes magic, like god.

But it would be impossible to disprove the existance of god because he could be anywhere in the universe that we did not check. I fell in love with this at a Baptist Good friday service this year. I am a Southern Baptist Jew, so thus Passover was the same week as Good Friday and thus I decided to go to the service to fellowship and worship with my brothers and sisters in Christ. The Message is wonderful, another good thing, it was co-written by a Jew (Meir Ben Yitzchak Nehorai), not that I am sayng that we are better than non Jews, God forbid, I just am rejoicing that He is removing the veil from our eyes.

a couple days ago i was talking with someone about life, the trials and the tribulations and he asked me why i wasnt worried and why i continue on with the severity of my disabilities, and i said... I believe in god and his jaw dropped and he said that he never pegged me as a believer in god and i said yeah i also believe in christ, i think he couldnt understand why i believed even though the suffering i endure everyday.... being i was disabled before i was an adult and endured 15 years of pain.

@gdsm93 Idk if you have kids or not, but its like when your kid does something wrong that really ticks you off. you might hate what they did but you still love your kid (i hope so at least haha) and yes is is logical to fix the sin, which is exactly what Christ can do for you. Granted, we can never fully be rid of our sin til we join Him, but through the processs of sanctification, we can slowly begin to overcome the temptation of sin in our life. And i have seen that work and experienced it.

@hiimquinn Would you rather worship the one who causes the suffering or the one who will make you a better person through the suffering even when you cannot feel Him there? Satan causes the suffering and like a good father, God never leaves His children.

Maybe not but he will kill them without a second thought the bible is full of god having a little tantrum and killing everyone, just look at the story about the ark. If my kid doesn’t do what he is told that doesn’t mean I will hold his head under water until he is dead. What is so lovely about god???

@MegaIfonly The most honorable way for a child of God to die is to die for God because He died for us. If someone is God's child, they will be with Him in heaven, so God still never leaves His children. Not everyone is a child of God; only those who trust what He says aka believes in Him. As for the violence in the Bible, it is simply evidence that war between good and evil was present back then as it is now. When God flooded the earth (the ark story) (out of space, see next comment)

@MegaIfonly When God flooded the earth (the ark story) He wiped out evil men and only one man was pleasing to God, Noah. And Noah and his family were saved from the flood. I don't believe God wanted to destroy mankind, but the Bible says that evil mankind broke His heart so much that He was sorry He made the human race! So, why are we humans still here then?! God's love, that's why. The ark story is in Genesis 6.

@hiimquinn You sound like someone who is either a former Christian or possibly grew up in a church but has found hardship in your life. I may be talking to a brick wall here but I want to tell you suffering is a consequence of sin. If God always prevented people from sinning, or always prevented the consequences of sin, then human goodness would be mere programming, not true goodness. Suffering is not caused by God, but by the sin of persons with moral responsibility.

@hiimquinn Wasn't enough room to put it all. Sin, suffering, and death are not the destinies for which God created us. He created us to enjoy perfect, good, loving fellowship with Him for eternity. Despite our moral betrayal, he continues to offer eternal life.

@areno3465 how did we betray him? by being tricked into doing something we wearn't even aware we were doing? you do realize he created us without any moral or ethical reasoning, which means even if eve DID understand what she was doing, she could never fathom the harm. thats god's fault, not ours
and i would honestly be hesitant to say he offers eternal life, especially since he (and christians) caused some of the biggest blood baths in history

@hiimquinn it WAS Eve's fault that that happened to her God specificly said NOT to eat from the tree in the middle of the garden but Satan tempted her and Adam so we don't live perfect lives
but later God got crucified for us so we won't have to die He made such a big sacrifice just for us and what He has done for us is INCREDIBLE!!:D and we r just hating Him I don't think that's the way to act

@1234oxoxox it was NOT her fault. that is like telling a mentally disabled person to do something he cannot do. eve nor adam DID NOT have the moral or ethical ability to fathom the consequences of their actions. besides, Lord Satan said 2 things to eve. "this apple will not kill you, and it will make you more like god" it did not kill her, and it gave her morality (which god obviously had), and doesn't the bible TEACH you to be more like god? Lord Satan never lied, and yet you still blame him

Lord Satan never "tricked" her. he gave her the apple, told her the TRUTH about it, and she chose to eat it. then again, if you even read my comment, it says IN THE BIBLE that adam nor eve had moral/ethical knowledge, and didn't know right from wrong, nor did they realize the impact of what they did HAD on the future. god made the mistake of creating us like that, Lord Satan only tried to correct it. and you seriously don't want to bring the old testament into this, trust me

why the new testament? as i recall, the "lord" said his own word was perfect. and since god could see the future, he OBVIOUSLY though of everything before hand. why would he change a perfect word unless he's wrong? but he's never wrong, right?....

If you've ever actually read the Bible and understood it with an open mind, you would understand the contradictions and ridiculous teachings it gives. This is not my opinion, however, this is fact.
