What you can do is get the first badge number you can. Once you have their badge number get their Liability Insurance and place a claim against it. Imagine if everyone at that protest did that.

I do really like this idea. It's worth noting though that most of the police shown in the video would say nothing, or even attack those that speak to them, before giving out their badge number.

Those actually arrested may have more of a chance of getting that information however (closer proximity, more time, potentially less volatile reactions).

Legally they are required to give that information, in practice it's very hard with that type of situation.
