Numark NS7 Case Review - compare to DJ Esco Odyssey FZGSNS7W

@djruco - only thing to be aware is the "double sized" drives (where there is 2 HDDs inside the enclosure) will not slide in and out, you'd have to remove the NS7 to take the drive in or out. That's what I found with a Seagate freeagent

@djruco Has anyone gotten the NS7FX to fit inside? It does sort of fit but I'm concerned it would not be safe for travel. My friend suggested "some kind of sock thing" to protect it from sliding around

Actually I dont know, I dont have the FX. My friend has the FX, I will ask him what he does, the only difference is, his case is the Odyssey one. I will find out & let U know.

DJ Rucco, Is there room for a hard drive to fit underneath the NS-7?

Definitely it's a space, either is a passport or regular HD, the only thing is u dont have enough air circulation below the NS7 because of the foam.

@djruco There is plenty of air circulation for a hard drive. There is 2.5" of height X 17" width openings between the NS7 and case, in front and back and all the way thru.

thanks for the review... Have you ever actually traveled with it in airports? I travel a lot and would like to keep this NS7 with me... do you think the the numark case would protect it?

Actually, I didn't... It definitely will be really cool, If I start doing it. Well, if anybody out there want me to rock their party. Just call me, lol

But, definitely the case will protect the NS7, the foam give a lot of pressure 2 the NS7, trust me just 2 put in inside the case, it will be a little be hard. It was made for it.

No it's a DVS controller that mixes mp3's from your laptop using software from Serato called Itch.

Actually, it cost me a lot more than that.

Because this time I have insurance on it. But, basically the NS7 is around $1300 & the case is another $300

btw. I like your videos, bro...
