I used to see they guys every weekend at the Hardback cafe in Gainesville florida. Them, Section 8 and Tired from Now On were regular acts. I never paid more than 5 bucks.

I was a sophmore at the University of Florida when I first saw them. I was a regular the Hardback. There may have been 6 people that night. They finished playing at around 4 AM. Jason one of the band members needed a ride home. So me and him Pat Hughes and, Danarchy got in a car and we drove off. The best bands in G'ville at that time: Hot Water Music, Vanbuilderass, Section 8, Tired From Now On, Intro Barbie, Less Than Jake and The Usuals.

The Draft have really grown on me! I think they sound like the best of the Chris songs in later Hot Water Music. I just think of them now as HWM minus Chuck. Kind of like All was the Descendants minus Milo. Hard to deal with at first but then awesome in a similar way.
