  • I love this movie. It's good, clean fun and makes me laugh. Dustin Hoffman is superb, as always. Thank you for uploading the trailer.

  • I love this movie. It's good, clean fun and makes me laugh. Dustin Hoffman is superb, as always.

  • so good, so gay!

  • BRILLIANT

  • Wait. Whaaaat ?

  • load of crap

  • Tyler Perry ... Autobiography...Lol

  • load of rubbish !!!

  • Why have trailers changed so much since those days.....i'm writing an article on actresses who won supporting actress oscars and am trying to find some sample of footage of Jessica Lange in Tootsie, anyone know where to find it?

  • Mrs. Doubtfire is a family orientated movie so it has more of a kids feel but saying that Mrs Doubtfire comments at the dinner table that Miranda " uses a vibrator that chips her teeth" And that "Miranda has Crabs" But anyhow i find this movie more Serious and more deep i really feel for Dorthy were as with mrs doubt i just wanted her to set her boobs on fire again. But the ending of both movie means there cant be a second one. But saying that Tootsie is old enough for a remake.

  • Great screen chemistry between Hoffman and Rebecca Lang. Suspense! Yozza. Blew my socks off when I was 13. How can you die without seeing this movie?

  • wth is that Dustin Hoffman?

  • im not a big fan of old movies but THIS IS MY FAVOURITE!

  • This movie is AWESOME!!

  • BEAUTIFUL ACTOR DUSTIN HOFFMAN AS TOOTSIE

  • which is the music that appears in this trailer

answer me please for the love of god

  • The song it might be you is there theme?

  • @xXNamidaXx this trailer doesn't really make it sound like transsexuality, more cross dressing to get a role. I haven't seen it though.

  • Nunca me interesssei por esse flmee mas de uns dias para cá é uma das obras que mais quero ver

    Viva o Brazil!!!

  • he should've won the oscar that year. no offense to ben kinsley (his best work was in "sexy beast"). but hoffman made us love that character and was a convincing woman.

  • Love this movie..!

  • can someone tell me the name of the film where a guy is afraid to go to a school because of the bullies and so he starts dressing like i girl so that they wouldn't recognise him?

  • Every single time I watch this movie I cringe & cringe & cringe... It's so hilarious, even when I'm on my own I have those regular outbursts of laughter. Extremely well written!

Dustin Hoffman, very convincing. I love him, every movie he's in, he's just brilliant. And he's kinda cute ;)

  • The best actor in the world. Is. Has ever been. Is allways gonna be. Dustin Hoffman will remain on this planet as a legend.

  • Couldn't agree more.

    :D

  • That trailer was horrible :D

  • I loved that movie

  • No doubt about it "Tootsie" is one of the best screenplays ever written and one of the funniest films these eyes have ever seen.

  • Is it just me, or does "Tootsie" look a bit like Sarah Palin?

    their glasses are almost identical.

  • Pollack is WAY too schmalzty!

  • i beg to differ. Mrs. Doubtfire kicked *ss

  • super :))))))))))

  • it was easy for him to do this role because he was short and his body shape was small so most of the clothes and things could be brought off the shelf. but he did a great job and didnt over do it like alotta drag queens

  • TAXI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • "That is one wacky hospital."

  • this is probably the worst trailer i've ever seen.. amazing film though.. love the scene with Sydney Pollack on the phone..

  • BOY, did he Showes US....Just WATCH ME !!!

  • I love when stewie dressed up like this one Family Guy.

  • i can across this movie a while back on tv on tcm and i liked it so i bought it on dvd at walmart

  • Good movie, but this trailer sucks.

  • Taxi! Haha. ^^

  • long live Aaron Russo :)

  • This wasn't th music on the original Tootsie trailer. They played the famous song "Toot-toot-tootsie goodbye" orginally, and you can see that the title is still animated to match that song on this trailer, but for some reason the song is gone here and this dreadful piece of "stock" music is here instead. Makes the trailer look and sound much worse than it actually was!

  • worst trailer ever!!

  • this movie is sorta like the movie mrs doubtfire

  • @ekibbe123 no, mrs doughtfire is sorta like tootsie

  • Love Sydney Pollack, love this movie;)

  • my favorite scene was the one when he called the farm equipment office

  • And the weird thing is, he actually is convincing as a girl in this movie.

WAY more convincing than Robin Williams in Mrs. Doubtfire.

  • @tdizzy250 Yes, he is convincing in all but one scene. When he is lying in bed next to Julie at her father's house, it is so GLARINGLY obvious he is a man. Poor Julie must be as blind as Helen Keller.

  • @tdizzy250 thumbs up 4 that

  • @tdizzy250 I agree but they're both great actors.

  • @FILMFREAK420 That's true.

    Robin Williams is great. =))

  • @tdizzy250 I wouldve done unspeakable things to Dorothy Michaels.

  • alguien sabe como se llama la cancion de esta pelicula? la que aparece al final

  • One of the funniest movies ever. Dustin Hoffman was brilliant as TOOTSIE. Adore this movie

  • me too! :)

  • Cool movie

  • amo esta pelicula

  • I looove this movie. Dustin Hoffman is Best !!! It's Adorable !!!

    My Beautiful Year 1980's.

  • Haha youre an idiot, I think before you tackle being a better actor than Dustin Hoffman, one of the greatest method actors of all time, maybe you should learn how to put together a correct sentence. But, first youll have to learn how to spell.

  • Just a general observation: learn about the apostrophe if you're going to criticize grammar. But word on Dustin Hoffman as one of the greats.

  • Leaving out an apostrophe in this setting is hardly comparable to spelling mistakes, and the over use of commas.

  • I think you should still consider what you're advocating because leaving out an apostrophe does make contractions like "You'll" a spelling mistake.

  • what does tootsie mean?

  • Well the director calls Dorothy "Tootsie" and she yells at him. That's the only point in the movie I remember that name being used.

  • you will not know...hahahaha

  • Youre bull shit. You use commas too much.

  • i didn't realize dustin hoffman as a woman when i fist saw this movie's preview

  • one of my favourite movies!!

  • Fantastic! Went to see Tootsie last week at a local film festival. Dustin came along to introduce the movie. Some great stories.

They sure don't make them like this any more.
