it took 2 days to get going right for me. Just remember to have the return piping an inch below the water line for good connection. Also, if there is too much foam which you barely can put the skimmer cup in without filling up saltwater, put your finger in the foam and it shoud settle down. hope this helps and thanks for watching.

how long did it take for your skimmer to break in ? i just bought mine have it running with some hot watter it makes bubbles but not remotly nearly as fine as yours im assuming is because its brand new but just curious?

Nice review on this skimmer. I just purchased this for my JBJ 28 . I noticed you said you had to mod the plumbing to get the skimmer to fit with the canopy. what exactly did you do or will i be ok with no mods?
