  • I was sent this link from a former teammate.. Oh Paul, There may be some pitchers with a 5 degree angle, but as they go through there delivery, they are center balanced, and there weight is back until they touch and that weight is pushed forward, that is the push they get off the rubber and mound. Its Physics. You quoted some physics yourself. So leg back then leg up is what generates power? Come on, you get leg up, glance point, then weight back and drive off back leg. You don't fall off, jeez.

  • I gotta disagree. I pitched successfully through out my career on those old school tactics taught by my pitching coach who is a good friend.

    Also, your pretty much telling who ever (kids) watch's this video to listen to YOUR theories not to listen to there pitching coach who probably played some pro-ball in his career and knows what hes talking about. Kids listen to someone that has played at that level.
