  • Hi my labrador is nearly 2 in march. whenever he see's a dog he runs off or pulls how can I stop him ??

  • my lebrador will come in 18 after 3 days can u tell me what name can i give to him he is a male.

  • i have 2 labs, dad n son. daddy sits and gives his paws, tought him left and right.

however the son jumps non stop until i feed him :D

  • My lab just jumps for the treat

  • I dont need food to teach my Lab, All I Just do is get her attention like run up and down w/ her then I say ''Blacks, Sit Girl. Good Girl!''

  • My lab already nows how to sit i just told her to sit and she didnt so i pushed her butt down and about after 3 tries she finally found out how, @mxcnprd10 maybe be she has so much energy she doesnt wont to lison or just stay still thats what happened at first when i tried to teach mine but she finally caught on.

  • i get a 7weeks yellow labrador in 10 days cant wait for him , they most clever and nice looking dog ever.

  • i dont use treats to train my dog.. you can work with them with out treats..

  • @allaround1331 why? are you mean to your dog? she probably deserves a treat.

  • @prettyattack lady my dog is 12 month old and can out work and hunt any dog at the same age. there be a time when the dog gets older will all ready know and you dont have to say a word.. i do show my dog love just when its time not because i want hime to lay down.. i should just have to say it.

  • My labrador is 10 weeks. She has learnt this. an easier way to do it is too put the treat behind her front paw. I will upload a video of her. I would suggest training her as soon as possible but if she is any younger that, 8-9 weeks, i wouldnt start on much, maybe sit or so.?

  • My labrador won't lay down with me using a treat to lure her down. What should i do?

  • @ba258ism, Whatch my videos. My lab is three months old and I've already taught him some tricks. I started the training about a month ago, when he was just two months old. And since he began the exercises, he's become more obedient and calm. Most of what I learned is in "adestradoronline" here in youtube.

  • The food seems like a huge distraction, have you tried training without the food, just positive reinforcement?

  • lay down or lie down. ?

  • Luckily, dogs aren't pedantic so either will do.

  • lol my dog was 5 weeks old when whe had her

i said sit for fun sit! she sitted down..!

    i said lie down!

    she lied down o.o!!!!!!

    i said roll-over she rolled over !!!

    omfg

    i was so frikng suprised!

  • What age do you start training dogs to do tricks? My lab is 1 month old, all he does is jump around when I try to teach him to sit and stuff. Lol

  • One month? That's only about four weeks.

Good breeders usually don't let you take the dog home until the dog is about seven or eight weeks old, in other words, two months.

Or did you mean you've /had/ him for one month?

  • We got him when he was 1 month old, from my friend who had the puppies. He is now 7 weeks old. He can now sit, and shake hands. =]

That's what I was thinking that he was too young at first, but when he finally started being active and stuff I decided to give it a try. He learned quickly ! Now I'm teaching him to stay and laydown. He is young but he is very smart !!!

  • its best to start at 4 months of age . but my lab is 1 month & she does: sit, speak, down & jump with out clicker training.

you just gotta put him in da right timing of training itz easy once you & your pup get a close bound together =]

    I hope this helps!!

  • @mxcnprd10 same here.i have a 3 mont old lab i got him to sit but thats about it..all he does is jump around lol

  • @mxcnprd10, Whatch my videos. My lab is three months old and I've already taught him some tricks. I started the training about a month ago, when he was just two months old. • @mxcnprd10 same hirr :))

  • how old is he?

  • not even this worked i cant get his butt down in any angle i put the treat down

  • usually, this is the best method, but if ur having problems, put them in a sit, then pull their 2 front legs down. mark, treat, and repeat
