Awsome review man, i gave it 5 stars, favorited, and subbed, keep up the good work. Ive got a question hopefully you can help me, since i watched this vid ive wanted to play this bad, do you have to know the stories of the regular mega man game to understand this or will i be able to just play it and enjoy the story without playing the original games?

Great review! To me, the best Mega Man X games are X, X3 and X4. I like X8 too, but mostly because it was totally different from X7. =]

it was a pretty good review but i feel you could have talked more about gameplay and less about history and you forgot to mention th secert hidoken(think thats how its spelt) you can get :)

Why buy the game on ebay you can download the game,and play it on your computer? I just beat the game a few minutes ago and still love it. Just as much as when I played it on my SNES in 1993.

When it comes to the systems that are still out in the market. Like the 360,Wii,PS2,PS3,and PS3 then yes we obey the law. When it comes to Nes,SNES,Dreamcast,etc then no those games systems don't sell anymore. So the law doesn't care if you play old games on your computer.System those can't make profit anymore i've been using a SNES Emulator on my computer for over ten years,and no law authority isn't bitching to be about it being wrong.

True yes, it is against the law so thats one reason. Saying they dont care about the systems any more is not correct. There are games on the Spectrum that are still covered by copywright so Im sure games like MegaMan are still covered and will always be copywight! But like me I have the original so its not ilegal to download the ROM.

Not only that though. Playing the game on the original system... theres nothing better! It just feels better and for some reason plays much better.. But who knows?

I agree with what interghost says the law may be easy to break but that's only because its like downloading music, its really impossible to tell who has original copies and who don't. Trust me pirating is illegal and if some how you did get caught you'd face huge ($100,000) fines and jail time. I just hope you know the risk of being a pirate, with that said I two am a pirate and I also have this ROM. Also notice the "lol" in my last comment, I was joking, but the risks are real.

There were a Megaman X7 and X8, but you'd do well to steer clear- they're complete shite,my friend. And I LOVED the X series.

Yeah the Action Replay was cool.. my mate had one and you could make the fighters walk on the celing and shoot hundreds of fire balls in a line!

awesome review. but mmx was released in 94 and mm6 was released in the us in 94 also, but the year erlier in japan. and braineaterknux did review 6 also.

MegaMan X was released on Devember 17th 1993 in Japan, Dec 93 in US and September 1994 in Europe.

MegaMan 6 was released on October 6th 1993 in Japan and March 94 in US.

So... as in the review both MMX & MM6 were released in 1993 (all be it in Japan first!)
