  • Have to admit I've never heard of the Klubs but I like this song a lot. Nice surprise to discover it! Ron

  • Super Modernist Psych! More of the same please - Peace ♥☺☀♫

  • Just teamed up with Noz, feeling good ;-)

  • @psychedelicGuy I may have one very old pic in my attic. Not sure. What about MrSydknee?

  • Do any of you guys have pics of The Klubs from back in the day?

  • @PsychedelicGuy

Have an issue of record collector with some pics, it might be the same as the ones on the cover of the tenth planet comp

  • @MrSydknee

Yes did have the single, but due to break in, no longer have it. Never understand, why they recorded something so totally different to the usual stuff they played. Think Paddy wrote it. Don,t think Pete ever did get those drums from Alf¡

  • If you have this single check out its value! It was worth a lot of money at one time, not sure if thats still the case.

I used to work with Trevor (Uncle Albert) Griffiths and he was a good laugh but I was very dissapointed that he didn't play in their reunion gigs.

  • They were brilliant. Wonder who posted this?

  • thanks for this. another new one for me

  • odd song. Totally different to anything else. Not heard this before.

  • Amazed to find this. Thought I,d try Klubs in search box, and was so amazed this came on. Pete, John, Paddy, Trevor and Nozza, it didn,t anything like do justice to any of your music capabilitys. when you said you were making a single, we expected something totally different. You were all robbed of the chance you should have had.

  • @jen13101j

I totally agree, wish i had seen them.

They sound awesome on the CD, i wonder where the other recordings ended up?

  • I never knew The Klubs played stuff like this. Very pleasant 60's type song. Knew Peter Tidy...the drummer (had some laughs with him) yeah...I like it.

  • I bought this when it came out...they were much better live...saw the launch for the single at a scout hut on Albemarle rd Wallasey...

They had Triumph amplification with lights on...state of the art at the time.

  • like nothing iv'e ever heard.

  • ya its pretty amazing
