Sherman FB2 MIDI Control Fun

What is the difference between an original Sherman and the "2" model? I have the original and I love it.

been looking at one of these for some time now, out of curiosity, what is the something comparable (other than the awesome and unobtainable sonic alienator)

There really isn't anything else that sounds like a Sherman Filterbank. The Sonic Alienator is great, but it's quite different. If you like the Sonic Alienator's sound, the WMD Geiger Counter is similar in character.

Thanks for the reply, I looked at the Geiger counter, it is nice but it didn't really grab my attention like this.

What about the restyler? I know you can use that as a filter also, though not to the extend of the filterbank. Any thoughts on that?

ps, any ideas if frostwave will be comming back?

No.  It's my camera audio adapter. It's got a sensitive grounding issue sometimes.

do you guys think you could make a video putting a guitar through one of those, maybe trail some delays through it or some fuzz pedals, a ring modulator, etc.
