Well yes sharks can attack people but people are not shark's favorite taste.. Really Sharks' eyes are very very burry , not sharp see.. Your body look like seal to sharks , surf, too.. sharks make mistake to bite people oops. Sharks will spit it out and left.. Its happened alot of time.. Also if you have any cut skin with blood scent that make shark lead to attack you.. Most people don't take risks of entering the deep sea swimming with unwanted creatures. A car accident kills alot of people each year, your right, but humans they don't obey the rules for cars and most people also don't live near the sea which reduces the rate of people getting swallowed by sharks or any other sea creature each year.

I am atually trying to hook up a trip to go cageless shark diving with blues and shortfin makos, the great white trips are way to expensive. And i would also like to go down to Tiger Beach in the bahamas to go cageless tiger shark diving with Jim abernethy and shark diver magazine in the next couple years.

I've been a surfer here in California for 36 years and have never been attacked by a shark. There were even two 8' Great Whites swimming amongst us for a period of time at a place called San Onofre ( trestles, Old man's ). None of us were attacked but that doesn't mean they wont eat you. They have little more than a brainstem and most assuredly cannot conceptualize, so maybe it's just better if we give them a whole bunch of space, just in case, know what i'm sayin?

The only difference is that i want to go diving with them. :) But you see sharks have a very remarkable brain they are very smart animals. Their sensory system is very complex, so they know whats their food and whats not. You should watch sharkwater. Its a very good movie. You can watch it on youtube as well. Surfed app. one mile south of the Oceanside pier is the nearest. I went scuba diving once in the La Jolla in the 60's cove with a man who collected Abalone. I was a young teen and it was freaky!!
nice. Im going freediving in la jolla tommorow with a bunch of leopard sharks so i am really excited. And i heard la jolla was a good surfing spot during el nino years.

theres confirmed man-eaters but the vast majority of attacks on humans sharks will test-bite then let go, we are too bony for their liking and not a normal part of the menu. however if it, or they, are ravenously hungry, or agressive like a bull shark, or a tiger shark which can cut thru bone easily, theyll definitely turn yo into dinner

It is estimated that a person's chance of getting attacked by a shark is 1 in 11.5 million, and a person's chance of getting killed by a shark is 1 in 264.1 million. it is true that sharks can do a lot of damage to humans and i'm not trying to play down the terror of being attacked but trying to say that sharks aren't man eaters. If they were man eaters then why aren't more than 4.1 people killed(of which generally bleed to death) a year because sharks certainly have means and Opportunity.

its proven that they only take a "bite" out of humans because there curious and they mistake them for fish or other sea animals - sharks are very curious animals and will investigate almost anything.. they dont even mean to hurt you.. Absolutly true, they do eat humans. But they are also not the maneaters that the media and ignorant fear caused by films like Jaws have dubbed them either. Sharks to not differentiate between one type of meat to another, to them it's just meat. Of cause if the shark is not hungry or you're not bleeding, or thrashing around like a panicy idiot. hell yes they eat people. Read any survival story from a person who have been stranded in the middle of the ocean. They will most definitely eat you. They are not mistaking you for fish or a large seal either. IMO shark behavior differs immensely between open ocean and close to shore

Most people don't take risks of entering the deep sea swimming with unwanted creatures. A car accident kills alot of people each year, your right, but humans they don't obey the rules for cars and most people also don't live near the sea which reduces the rate of people getting swallowed by sharks or any other sea creature each year.

Sharks don't attack people for fun. The water is their habitat, and when a shark bites a human it's usually mistaken identity as we look like seals from the surface. Sharks don't have tongues so they use their teeth.

most of the attaks that r fatal ( not often) r just from the shark finding out what is is. So the shark see a trashing moving thing in the distance. And thats what sharks do they sometimes find injured animals and get them. so when they see it they don't know what it is so when they want to find out they use there mouths. normally when they all ready find out that it is not their normal food they leave. But by then they could have severed a artery and there dead.

Sharks do not eat people, the pictures that you put up were taken as by an underwater photographer, and i know many people who dive with great whites, makos, bulls, and tiger sharks without cages. 80% of sharks dont get bigger than about 3 or 4 feet. Most sharks dont have the right teeth to effectivaly cut through prey, and they are smart enough to know what is prey and what is not.

I am atually trying to hook up a trip to go cageless shark diving with blues and shortfin makos, the great white trips are way to expensive. I've been a surfer here in California for 36 years and have never been attacked by a shark. There were even two 8' Great Whites swimming amongst us for a period of time at a place called San Onofre ( trestles, Old man's ). None of us were attacked but that doesn't mean they wont eat you. They have little more than a brainstem and most assuredly cannot conceptualize, so maybe it's just better if we give them a whole bunch of space, just in case, know what i'm sayin?

The only difference is that i want to go diving with them. :) But you see sharks have a very remarkable brain they are very smart animals. Their sensory system is very complex, so they know whats their food and whats not. You should watch sharkwater. Its a very good movie. You can watch it on youtube as well. I do have a question though, have you ever surfed la jolla?

Surfed app. one mile south of the Oceanside pier is the nearest. I went scuba diving once in the La Jolla in the 60's cove with a man who collected Abalone. I was a young teen and it was freaky!!
