  • Great video thanks.

Maybe to hear about the side effects from some of these methods would be very helpful, as there are a lot of side effects from some contraceptive methods.

  • STDs not STIs:P. Sexually trasmitted disease.

  • i think the pills great, ive been on marvelon for about a year and it has calmed down my acne alot, its great!

  • According to Dr Owens, dentists do lots of oral sex in their surgeries. lol.

  • Ladies, there is one VERY simple way to avoid pregnancy as a result of intercourse: butt-sex.

  • Yeah!!

  • birth control pills increase the risk of cancer, stroke...

its like arguing over cigarettes, same risks, same devoted users.

  • actually, they reduce the risk of ovarian cancer according to researchers

  • true

  • Guess what! All medications have side effects! Most medications involve some risk!

Obviously, with the high percentage of women using hormonal birth control... PEOPLE THINK IT'S WORTH IT.

  • Doesn't anyone care about the side affects that all these hormones are having on women? I bet these same medications would never pass the FDA if men had to take them!!!!!!!!!!

  • So you're saying that the FDA will pass a harmful drug for women, but not for men?

Why don't you try to come up with a real argument?

  • I don't think they ment it like that. I think he ment if men had so many hormornes pumped into them, and they started acting wild and crazy. Like women and their b*tchyness.

  • Wow, way to make a good argument. Women are crazy and bitchy and wild and need to be taken off those hormones! Who do you think is going to take you seriously? Oh, and it's "meant".

  • I'd like to add that I work with many women of reproductive age in medical settings. The most dramatic side effects (such as hair loss, copious bleeding, etc.) occur with hormonal injections such as Depo-Provera. I'd definitely recommend pills or rings over injections. It's just not that difficult to take a pill every day or change a ring once a month!

  • I would just say that the effectiveness rates that she provides are ideal effectiveness rates. Actual effectiveness rates are about 10-15% lower than she provides, which is why it is always a good idea to use more than one contraceptive method.
