The ending of this movie was all wrong in my opinion. The nude fighting bathhouse scene is the climatic scene in the movie. The revelation that Nikolai is an undercover cop is rather anticlimatic. Then he doesn't get together with the the Watts character so that

is a let down. My take on the last fleeting scene where Nikolai is sitting in the restaurant is that he has become the head of the Russian mafia but at what price? Cronenberg weaked the plot by not expanding on that a little.

Where is this film showing? It's limited release, but I can't find any information on where/when it will be showing in the U.S. And yes, I've searched all the usual suspects.

It was a limited release on 14th Sept in the US but it will widen out from 21st.
