4. I've had this game for a year now and im not even close to getting bored of it, with all the add ons and stuff.. this game just oozes fun

5 You can justjoin a server but if u want to play just wit a friend u can set up a private server

@mickeypopa You're welcome. But I played this game and I still play Left 4 dead and it is not a rip off of that game at all. They are sooooooo different. In gameplay, how you level up, building guns and so on. How one character plays different from another one.

I get what you mean, but it's the thrill of the VS multiplayer mode that

I like the most. L4D has that, unfortunately Borderlands doesn't.

Because I'm used to playing multiplayer like that - got Counter-Strike,

DoD, Battlefield, M&B:Warband, Quake, Starcraft, Warcraft, DoW,etc.

and in all these games it's all about having a person as an opponent.

That's what I'm talking about, not the AI thing.

When it comes to single player, I mostly focus on adventures.

Left 4 dead is always gets the most emotional, complainy, players that just bitch and complain the whole time then rage quit, or vote kick you if you do one little thing wrong. so I just stick with co-op, less of a chance of that happening

That's what I'm interested in. I would buy the game for that reason alone to encourage it.

On another note, If LAN co-op works, you can get your friends to come over, that would take care of that lag problem?

3:Put the Borderlands CD in drive and select download to a removable disk

4:dezarhive the multiplayer version and download this version in the original folder of borderlands

What's important in online gaming is not bandwidth, but latency.

The amount of data that you can send at once is less important than how fast and reliably that data can be communicated.

Unfortunately playing on US servers is hell since I'm halfway around the globe. No amount of bandwidth will make up for physical distance.

Well, i'm in canada, and I can play on japanese counter-strike servers with a ping(latency) of about 70. Anywhere in north/south america I usually get a latency of about 5-20

So, you probly just have a shitty internet provider (I have Shaw)

That's because Japan is a major hub like Singapore. They have undersea optical cables all out their asses. Unfortunately not the case with other smaller countries.
