I completely agree. They were ROCK musicians and very talented players. The Young Modern album barely had any bass or drums. Their talents couldn't, or weren't allowed to shine (imo the reason for the breakup). Silverchair BECAME a Daniel Johns/Paul Mac solo project FEATURING Chris and Ben. Hasn't been Silverchair since Freakshow.

Yes! Best night ever! Flew all the way from Atlanta to attend that show. It was my first time seeing them live...Saw them again on Dec. 16th in Atlanta and met w/them beforehand. Daniel told me S.D. was such a great show for me to see...one of their best...as you well know!

If you are, then I'm glad you still think San Diego was a great show and didn't let that ruin your experience. Also, congrats on meeting the boys. They are pretty amazing!

Ha ha...No. I could totally see. I was only three people back. Perfect line of sight to Daniel. There was a ton of pushing that went on that night that gave me some pretty big bruises, but even that didn't ruin my night. It was truly the best concert I've ever seen.

Oh, OK. There was a girl standing behind Ryan that was whining the whole night about how she "deserved" to be closer because she came from so far. Yeah, the pushing sucked. I got slammed up against the barricade and looked up at Daniel like "HELP!!" Thank God he stopped that crap! Hopefully we'll have some more awesome shows in 2008!!!
