  • ots erally uplifting to see such a young and talented young man making such use of his great talent. My 22 year old son can play the piano, but refuses to sit and learn anything. Just wants to listen to all the local trash on the radio. Forbidden to play his crap in our house.! Nuff said before I get on my soap box and start grandstanding

  • Can't you make the kid listen to some of these gems in the hope that he might get infected with Ragtime?

  • Just to mix things up a bit, I should mention that I listen to Jimmy Blythe, Gus Drobegg, Jesse Crump, Roy Bargy, Waldo's Ragtime Orchestra, Mississippi Jook Band etc. and then Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young, The Shins, Nightmare of You, The B-52s, etc and I think it's all good.

There are many things on the radio I don't like, but there are enough that I do like, that are different than what I listen to all the time at home.
