I can agree about Damage, inc. and ToS in comparison, I like both, but the former is my favorite 'tallica song of all time. Symphony of Destruction's okay, but what I personally like is Rust in Peace the song. Also, Dragonfarce and all those power metal pussies can eat a dick. (Pantera's great, 'specially Cowboys from Hell: Domination is way underrated.)

Iron Maiden has really chill guitar playing for a metal band that really isnt heavy shit. But yeah power metal is annoying just cause most of the singers kill it. Jump in the fire has a shredding solo at the end but the whole song itself is way more chill than Master of Puppets, or the Shortest Straw, Disposable Heroes. Then when it comes to the black album, Sad But True, Wherever I May Roam, The God that Failed, Through the Never are way heavier than most of kill em all. Then when it comes to Load, Aint my bitch is one of my favorite songs to smoke meth to.

@Parag0n I also listen to bands like Cannibal Corpse, Lamb of God (formally known as Burn the Priest lol) Suicidal Tendencies, Pantera, Slayer, Slipknot, Between the Buried and Me, Dream Theater, Bury your Dead, As Blood Runs Black which are all way more heavy and aggressive than Megadeth and some are more technical too like Between the Buried and Me is way more technical and more aggressive than Megadeth. Sometimes technical doesnt matter, its what sounds good.

Master of Puppets, and justice for all and the black album wouldnt have been as heavy with dave mustaine. Master of puppets and and justice for all are way heavier albums than kill em all and ride the lightning.

@Japxican Burton, his influence is especially profound on Master Of Puppets. He was older than James / Lars, he had seen hard drugs and the effect.

And Justice For All is so heavy because that's the way they dealt with death, Jason was in the band before the funeral and they still had to bury their best friend, so they had alot of heavy subjects, I'm sure the mood was quite grim.

The Black Album was never heavy and what followed for almost 20 years was just crap. Death Magnetic was a change.
